    It’s an exoatmospheric harvester. Meaning it works outside the atmosphere. You need the Atmospheric ram scoop

    I'm not sure if it's the reason for delays. The things that we'd seen earlier were VERY early development shots, and may have just been mockups.

    Parachutes are far from 100% reliable, and wouldn't be enough to slow down all the way in the thin martian atmosphere.
