  1. Nice, is that kitbashing or a specific mod's parts? Trust me; nobody wants this more than I do. But when you poke a dev with a stick..."bad things"TM happen.
  2. Sorry to hear about being sick. Get rest... we can wait. Also, what you have pictured is amazing. I didn't imagine near this detail when I asked about something.
  3. Remember, the rocket in the original S-iV (not the S-I B) was something that they though would get the job done and the S-IB had to go with a lower fuel level in the SM. I figure supplies and any LS mod are really cutting into the margins.
  4. Could really use this for additional docking on the Skylab. Current build uses the 1.8m end and a second docking section to extend with total of 3 ports on the second one. Also, has the EOSS package on the rear. Going for a second gen skylab that is designed for long term use and resupply missions. By the way, anyone have source reference to what EOSS was to be? The russian caption in the color photo doesn't do this American anything.,.
  5. If not switchable; I would go with the additional clearance. I have hung up and been unable to detach the interstage when I had a pair of Apollo style and a pair of Stock ports on this.
  6. I had noticed the quirk; but hadn't submitted yet. Was still making sure it wasn't PIBKAC. But, agree, it seems that seems we need a pristine version or to cheat it to orbit for the moment
  7. Are there any specific suggestions as to what should be in the Interstage's cargo bay? Don't get me wrong.... I have a plethora of ideas.... just looking for modeler's intent. As always L O V E the work. So fitting that Skylab gets a 'sibling'
  8. Thats what Washington said. We got pretty good out of Skylab/Kane.... although it retired much too early. But still the Military has had pretty good with the Keyholes; and with more cameras for the same/less money than if they were manned.
  9. Studying things from the time and based off many published authors/researchers of the period, I think it was really much more what JFK really had in mind as he wasn't hard sold on long term lunar investment.
  10. Hmmm, I have seen similar sketches from that era before; but for the first time the logic side of my mind almost wants to go Apollo-Buran. Perhaps this is why the Russians finally did go Energia-Braun. Don't get me wrong; I love the Space Transport System (to nowhere); but this pic gives me more a Buran vibe
  11. Several quotes here because I have been extremely busy and while I have kept watching and drooling over the developments, I didn't have my pc handy to do comments and I hate to do such with my phone. RE: Pioneer and "Ranger" landers. I think the addition of Viking would be a great round out of the landers of that era. There used to be a mod for it; but it was abandoned years ago. If IRC it was a Lonesome Robot mod. Thank you GREATLY!!!! Oh, while I have no idea what you are planning, I already have loadouts in use from the dev thread of it. Watching with much anticipation. Far nicer than the part bashing I have done since asking about it. Respects; but "Just say NO!" We already have a whole tribe to Krakens.... we don't need ship or base eating space worms. +1. This is the only reason I haven't stuck a nuke on the back of the Wetlab. S-IV stages would be wonderful too though
  12. A few questions based on observations... by the way, not a stranger to KSP (played since beta) but my old forum account died.... Playing in 1.12 1. It looks like the Saturn part switch changes lengths but not fuel quantity. Is this just my build, or is this a bug? 2. While some fuels are supported, I have had to resort to editing configs (specifically oxidizer to Lqd Oxygen) to get things to play nice with heavy modding for more realistic play. I suspect this is a Real Fuels issue.... Any chance that this is on a To Do list? 3. Any designs in the road map for the historic Lunar Rover? I find trying to shoehorn the weight of USI's amazing Packrat is shall we say too much volume and mass for the LEM. I have appreciated all the work over the years. This mod is one of the brightest gems in the community.
