I think the stream was either in the editor mode, or without any after effects, just the game, and render, so no SAO, Ambient Occlusion, Scatter (not clouds).. etc. so i guess the game is either threethings Not fully compiled with everything graphically or we are far far off from what we been shown in alpha videos, and everything needs to be stripped just for it to work right now. its in editor mode in the game testing area while developing the game.. which would explain the horrible rendering and only 30fps.

it was also sped up by a decent amount so the 5-6 minute at MOST 10 minutes sun set, is gone in 30-40 seconds, so to see the sun set for so many "seconds" even sped up is pretty good

i need to get into bed, i just typed two separate things on war thunders fourm instead of here. made myself look like a fool..

seems im not to insane.

night time IS a holiday.

When is Console Release
Stephensan replied to PlutoISaPlanet's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Suggestions & Development Discussion
just expect it to be after 1.0 and before ksp 3. -
man, cannot wait to hear this when i need to "haul" a load up. also the visuals is quite stunning, i really hop they have a setting for audio delay. see on a foggy night/day, with a replay mod, or multiplayer, seeing this, hearing this will be amazing. if they are using real life audio to help simulate to synthesize for the game, man this will sound killer, and automated landing/reentry man, that will be amazing to see and hear. a foggy night, and at then crack of the launch of the rocket, the sky glow orange, as the impending sound lingers towards you, seeing and then hearing, hearing the launch, and then the deepest roar of rocket engines taking off, just for the same killer sound when landing with sonic booms.. this is something i wish to see and hear in a ksp 2 experience.

ksp 2 is going to do time warp under acceleration, and even being built around going to other solar systems, i doubt they will make the mistake of not having a warp speed that isn't fast enough for everyone.. the only thing i can think of is persistent rotation under time warp. yeah im really hoping for a the mech jeb coder to get ksp 2 early so he can remake it without being rushed out the door, slam with some UI that is very close to ksp 2 i can really see that if its popular enough ksp 2 will add it as a addition setting you can add in your games, instead of a mod..
-
i thought pretty much some of the mechjeb was going to be added... planet mods is going to be a huge undertaking, so i can see it will take a while, better time warp will be in ksp 2 right out of the gate, its one of those "mods that go into the game" and i can see recolor hex mod in like 19 hours lmao.

bro, i was do davinchi resolve to do some tracking on some 4k 60fps videos.. i tracked something for 8 seconds, and took up 57GB of ram to just render out... people think im insane for having a Ryzen 5 3600 with 64gb of ram, but i get proved correct over and over again that its a huge idea to future proof your ram... i hope that ksp 2 isn't a ram hog, unless its completely necessary for more ram..

the kraken is a god that transported the kerbins into ksp 1 who knows why they had to be transported there, but the kraken transported them via a portal into this universe was rather unstable, so after many years living alone in a single solar system, the kerbins got tired of exploring the same land over and over to kill there boredom and now wants the krakens head, the kraken will rise up to not be defeated for the mere pleasure of the kerbins and will transport them using the easter eggs the kraken has put over all over the solar system to create a gate to transport them to a suitable new universe where the past fears of the kraken don't exist, there is new land to explore, with new planets, new solar systems, and better technology rather than the limited unstable ksp 1 universe... The head for the kraken will not be taken and now will help the green little things rather than annoying them and help them reach the stars. thank you coming to my ted talk, no way else someone is going change my mind

the huge question is now removing the hype. (grammerly) bigger the ship louder the sound? --> how far will we be able to hear the sound? --> will there be audio delay for the rocket --> will going above sonic affect sounds? the sound of large rockets taking off, and just how loud they are cannot be expressed even far far away, it literally rumbles your entire body from the inside and out.. the closer you are the better the experience, it is one of the things that i love, rockets even the same exact ship will not sound the same with the same take off location, its always different. and you can SEE rockets being launched literal 100's of miles away with how close you will be near the launch pads when multiplayer gets added, you are going to be in the best seat to have sequential take off sounds, and i can bet money, if this is really what we can expect from the game, there is no way that a ship larger with more rockets/going slower etc will not have a louder noise, the sound will probably be incredible.. so i just cannot wait for colonies seeing them take off, hear them, see them, and with them illuminating the small portion of the planet you are in, and looks even better with clouds.

man i remember watching videos and what not about documentation on theory's about how earths solar system had like another HUGE gas giant, with some theorizing it is a brown dwarf star with some moons withs some size of a planest around it due to how absolute strange our solar system is built and geographical information we have on earth.. that it goes in a pattern of asteroids bombardment like on a clock and the only reason we cannot see it due to having such a huge orbit that it takes to do one orbit, and even the orbit is so far far far away... and due to there is just so much "space", and it being as large as a brown dwarf star its just simple to cold to spot in the vastness of space... i wonder if that is going to be in the game, as a "the finial frontier" of the unknown, due to it being a theory/hypothesis in current space. that would give us some interesting content early on. but it could all just be a new planet, which im all in for.
-
i see this photo all i can think is "air supply transport" for colonies and rss way cheaper than a rocket

nah i think its simple as that, the artistic-ness of kerbins clouds is just to much, and there needs to be more variation.. they fit the game yes? the current one does within the degree of that is what has been shown for ksp 2 clouds on kerbin.. but what they shown before also fit if not way better, and not the ultra alpha video, the previous video i have sent, so why ultra simplify it to a point its more cartoony than looking like some clouds. hyper realistic launch plumes, ground, and textures but draw the line for amazing clouds that they HAVE shown before... everything besides the clouds are absolute bangers on the side of looking good however, ultra simple clouds with zero variations compared to what they showed before is just limiting what the game can look like, im just asking for more clouds variations than what has been shown, even by an option. it should be an experience to see a new day on a planet that can produce beautiful clouds, not "yup those look like some clouds", they have done it with nearly everything else, heck on other planets.. thats all
-
I'm asking for more variation of clouds an ecosystem, they have shown they can make good looking clouds that fit into ksp 2 really well, but the "artistic" features is just to much the complete flattening, semi transparent look just doesn't feel like its really there, like its in kerbal space program 2, more of an afterthought even after seeing the other videos of OTHER planets clouds, it just seems that they took the literal artistic part of building a game way to seriously and dropped the bucket making a ecosystem of clouds for kerbin.. its like someone "vaped" and blew out clouds for the entire planet of kerbin. Seeing one type of art for rocket launch plume, but not in clouds doesn't make sense, watching the launch of the rockets in the most recent videos, that has realism with it but not to a degree of complete perfectness of what real life behaves and looks like, something that has an artistic feature that makes it unique, but doesn't completely remove the beauty of it, but then just one type of clouds for kerbin where most new players will start with? the show and tell clouds look like they would be way more befitting in this game than what has been shown on kerbin even in that small little video there was tons of varraition of clouds, including the one that is plastered all over kerbin in ksp 2.. i will wait and see what other photos will come.. but i doubt it will change for kerbin. variation is key, and i see zero variation in ksp 2 kerbin, other planets yes but not on kerbin.
-
I would have expected kerbain clouds to not be as "fog" like, was expecting more of a somewhat within kerbals capabilities like EVE redux, with large contrast, huge beautiful clouds everywhere you look.. and not something like Environmental visuals 1.8, with a smoothed clouds instead of bunch of small ones. the clouds just seem thin, and flat, i really don't know how something like weather could be added, if ever added as of now. one of the stark differences between what we been shown with clouds right now the clouds there have shown depth, size, the clouds get darker, cloud self shadowing etc.. compare to and don't get me wrong about the other clips we have seen about the clouds so far, but seeing its just not a comparison right now.. it was pretty close with what they showed before and I'm showing that they do have such technologies to make clouds look as good as a certain mod that being produced for ksp 1. but the lack of nothing more than mix of cirrostratus clouds, altocumulus clouds and altostratus clouds for ksp 2 kerbin just looks... sad? like something they created, and just removed all function of, its hard to put my input on it without sounding insane, i was expecting big beautiful clouds with tons of variation but all we have seen as of current KSP 2 clouds on kerbin is rather flat, smooth, with some "textile" bumps here and there with it being mostly semi-transparent.. with almost nothing showing like a "ecosystem" of clouds, just a one type of cloud for the entire planet its just a shame as of now to see it everywhere like that. i would love some justice for bigger clouds as an option its just such a killer so far to see it like that.

No idea if this has been said for a achievement. "Fire Everything!" - During a landing, or in a landing process, if meaning in process of in the atmosphere, where catastrophic failure of the rocket where multiple parts of the rocket fail/get destroyed, and requires an abort and assist of a type of propulsion to "land safely" on the ground.

stating just reference for people that just glance a "avg gaming pc" has using steam software survey windows 10 16gb of ram at least 2.3 ghz cpu 6 core Gtx 1060 (8 Gb VRAM) with 6gb close by 2% 1080p.

I showed a video clip of ground scatter/small objects existing, https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=35 also i had stated "and just by looking even these videos are rather "old", so the screenshots are really not meant to look the best, just some teaseing.." it shows at hand that i seen this. I even gave a reason that these videos are rather old even nate said some of the stuff shown has been changed already, compared to the newest version. it also shows it does not give any the smaller rocks being shown, only very few, "larger rocks" compared to what was shown back in 2021 august which showed tons of large rocks, small, and tiny rocks for 100's of meters away. it would still seem that it would be missing most of the small objects/ ground scatter compared to the 2021 video. and is still around the ksp 1 version of "rocks and scatter" amount.

the fps and visuals state has been highly varied i would say based on the knowledge we know these videos are the closet to "new" we have, but is still missing certain graphical settings https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=32 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=35 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=65 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=102 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=182 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=258 https://youtu.be/XAL3XaP-LyE?t=524 but the issue is things like ground scatter, small objects is not in the game as of what we know, however PBR for ground is there, which still shows its in development, but even with just the PBR for the ground textures show at least that you will require a discreet GPU or a ryzen Igpu.. and just by looking even these videos are rather "old", so the screenshots are really not meant to look the best, just some teaseing.. there is alot to do before EA, so i assume ground scattering/small ground objects will be added soon, but some planets will most likely not have them due to what they are made of.

I must say its insane that KSP is 862k views in 3 weeks, but 554k in 3 days, just show that the amount of people waiting for the game BEEN waiting
