  1. Nevermind, sorry. It's my browser. It seems to think "Security" means turning off 90% of the internet. I knew by your reply what was going on. I seem to get that a lot lately.
  2. I am. I will make sure to keep that in mind. This is my first time playing Modular RSS and I have not opened any other bases yet so this info will come in handy! One thing is certain, I am glad I found this script because I was pulling my hair out trying to plot a glideslope like you would your algebra homework and it was not working.
  3. @Caerfinon @ss8913 I realize that the last post was 2 years ago but I was hoping you could help me use the flight plan script properly. The environment is Modular RSS 1/4 sized real solar system. Earth is 600000 meters in diameter. python kramax.py -p="Earth" -g="3" -r="600000" --name="KSC27" --description="KSC Runway 27" --latitude="4.99730396296269" --longitude="-52.791191178751" --heading="270" --altitude="21" It returns waypoints with their respective altitudes at MAXKY, HIKEY, LOKEY, etc but they are all at the same coordinates as input via the command line. My results are not generating distance as they are in Caerfinon's posts. I am trying to plot a 3 degree glide slope from MAXKY to FLARE/STOP, assuming that STOP is the position I parked on the runway to gather the coordinates, if that helps. EDIT: DUH! I think I fixed it. Radius is in km and not m for one... There is distance, it's just 1000 times compressed. Using --debug returns distance. Without it, it's a vertical descent.
  4. Just a quick question. I saw it asked but not an answer about custom waypoint hiding/removal. Is it possible to reset the waypoints to the ones shown by default without deleting custom ones from the menu panel individually? I can set them to active, of course, to hide them on the screen.
  5. I downloaded a ship that requires cjtroopseats. KerbalX lists the needed mod as "unknown." Google cannot find it. Does anyone know which mod this a part of?
  6. That time when you crashed your helicopter and it came to rest balanced on its tail...
  7. I love the tiled bottom and nosecone. I still can't fly a shuttle but I look awesome back flipping onto the ground.
  8. If the server is down, the addon mod breaks and pops a big window up on my screen that I can't close. Is there a way to close it that I am missing?
  9. I can get a rocket to hover. I can get one to land at or below 1 m/s. I even have success inching to a flatter spot without a catastrophe. The second I try to do this with an airplane or hovercraft, there are more flips than there are at gymnastics competition. I have gotten as close to the vessel as zoom will allow to align the center of thrust with the center of mass. Flip. I use only one tank of fuel because I am only trying to get it to work at this point but the flipping is almost immediately and rather hard so I don't think tank drainage is the cause. There's no time for anything to drain. I have tried a single engine at the center of mass. I have tried 4 engines in an X spread out around the center of mass. I have watched/read every tutorial I can find and mimicked them the best I can but most of them are outdated and many versions lower than current. I have even tried mods. CKAN says they are current but I can't make them work. Every single time, mods or not, it immediately flips. I turned to Breaking Ground propellers instead of engines. They flip, flop, and spin if they even have enough power to lift off and use electricity faster than I can generate it. Again, I have watched/read every tutorial I can find. I guess my question is simply, is it even possible anymore? Why is a rocket easy but a hovercraft is seemingly impossible? I know it used to work because I see the videos of it.
  10. Thankfully I am the other way around and my CPU is better than my GPU. Graphics are expensive. Upgrading would probably be a new computer because I am sure I will need a power supply as well as a video card and more system RAM would probably be necessary. I only have 16. I've only had KSP1 for a about a month so I have plenty more to explore. As I understand it, the Kerbin system is the only solar system right now in KSP2 and I am already there. :-P
  11. Yeah with both DLC. I love it. I can't fly anyway without blowing up, falling over, or running out of gas so KSP2 can't be much worse. If I can't fly in it either, I am already used to it.
  12. According to UserBenchmark, mine is half again more power than the GTX 960. Maybe I will give it go this weekend. You said 970. They say pretty much equal.
  13. RX 5500. 4GB VRAM. It plays KSP1 just fine though so I can still crash rockets.
