  1. That would be a merge of two of my favorite games. would be amazing! especially if you could build crew name them and change their voices and appearance like in Worms.
  2. Maybe from a graphics point of view. Everything else is a mess. Unless you think a base where orbital mechanics have proven to be an afterthought that can’t be fixed, is a good base for a KSP game.
  3. It can be purple gerbils instead for Kerbals for all I care, I’m more in it for what you can do in the game. or. The million dollar idea. CSP, Capibara Space Program think I’d get behind HarvesteR’s next project very fast even though I still feel butthurt from KSP2.
  4. You have to be kidding me? who hyped the hell out of this one with empty promises? updates in weeks not months? we are fully funded? No one is pulling the plug? Come on. This has Stockholm syndrome written all over it. Surely im not the only one who worked to pay those $50 I wasted for nothing. If he had any decency he’d open up to this amazing community here since day one and get real user feedback, it’s the only other tool other than a competent and well organized team, that he needed deliver the roadmap. T2 hired him and his team to deliver and he could’ve done it if he’d get his head out of his derrière and openly engage with the community in an honest matter, instead it’s been used car salesmen tactics and nothing delivered.
  5. In a surprise to no one. Wish him best of luck to find what he’s good at, because this wasn’t it.
  6. In case it needs proof lets hope t2 turns this around with competent people, instead of dropping the IP
  7. You should blame whoever invented participation trophies.
  8. Nothing a little polish can't fix. Aka updates are expected in weeks not months. Aka we are fully funded. Aka etc etc it means we have to move on with our lives until we get a real new update (like new meaningful features from the roadmap).
  9. Gee I hope this isn't going to be a Duke Nukem Forever type of development, all over again. By the end it was finally released they weren't sure exactly what they were releasing, or maybe the initial target group wasn't anymore interested after years of deception and restarting the progress. If that turns out to be true, I for one am going to consider KSP 1 has yet to receive a sequel, because this ain't it.
  10. I also took the liberty of contacting a lawyer, he says we have a case and he’s willing to negotiate the retainer.
  11. Apparently it was available for free for educators, at least while IG was around. By email to [email protected] , if that one still works nowadays that is.
  12. It must be that Elon bought it, to celebrate the 4th Starflight. He's just too busy to announce it.
  13. This was EA only by name. It has been discussed before. The only part they gladly adopted from how an EA is typically done is that there are no refunds if there are no updates. Among many others that define an EA, they skipped implementing user feedback in future updates. They either knew all along what to build or they just winged it all along due to the lack of competence. and of course you have to be silent when you have nothing to show for after all this time.
  14. Thank you for sharing these OP. The version I’m interested is KerbalEdu. That’d be sweet.
  15. We are well beyond the point where out of window refunds should have been possible for anyone that feels scammed ( spoiler alert: that’s a lot of people, including me) That being said I still don’t think it has anything to do with EA. EA has allowed for a lot of unique games that wouldn’t have happened otherwise, and I will continue to look for EAs to support, only I’ll look much much closer and be more patient when doing so, taking this as a hard lesson about that. Then I have something to say for the keyboard warriors good at copy and pasting from T&C… would you really be that happy if KSP2 were not to receive any other update starting today, would you still feel like it was 50$ spent on a game that is worth it? Just because it said on the tin that you might only buy the game as it is today? let’s face it, no one would have bought it, safe for very few, if they would’ve said 50$ only gives you a half assed milestone update (of the 6-7), and that one comes in a year after you pay for it.
  16. I don't get why this is still up for debate. KSP is 13 years old game that's was updated for many years constantly, by a competent team that loved the game and LISTENED to user feedback, and is today fully featured compared to an unfinished project that only got one lackluster milestone update out of the 6 that were planned (not counting the 7th that was alluded to) so it's unfinished and slow to update even for an EA. I hope people who say are a scam are wrong but today it's pretty hard to argue with them. The fact that such an old game still has life in it and currently 8x more players play it than this newest and greatest game, should close the argument. Don't know what is it there to discuss just because a minority of the player base boot up the game to do not that much in it, over and over again. I'm happy for them, but the reality is, objectively KSP1 > KSP2. The worrying part is Juno New Origins is slowly rising and might one day surpass KSP2, especially with everyone at IG being so quiet and unproductive. https://steamcharts.com/cmp/220200,954850,870200
  17. What do you mean “now”? it’s been going on for more than a year now.
  18. They're as good at delivering game updates as they are at delivering news about the game's future.
  19. Maybe not yet, but still, I’d keep these guys on speed dial. Just in case.
  20. Unless this somehow makes one of those very rare and miraculous recoveries like NMS did, I think it’s best we forget KSP even had a sequel. On topic, I’m not even into RC and bought in his (real) EA, because contrary to what others may think about me, I don’t mind paying if it’s to support people who actually deserve it.
  21. Did someone ask for Nate?
  22. That’s assuming RW would work as slow and as bad as IG. Why would they? RW actually has some successful releases under their belt.
