  1. Ok now I have to ask for the initiated, unless it’s just me lol, but I don’t get the mailbox reference.
  2. Who’s angry? I’m not. did I label you for having an opinion other than my own? You did that with me but I’m not bothered. i am however bothered when you don’t like your medicine. anyway so this doesn’t get me banned maybe we call It a day and agree to disagree or whatever is appropriate around here to end a heated talk.
  3. So if someone disagrees with you then they are looking for vitriol. hows that for unbiased?
  4. IMO the only one who treated this with integrity was Scott Manley. Once he smelled something rotten he stopped covering the game entirely rather than resorting to mental gymnastics and try to assess what’s truth and what is a lie. The game is simply nothing like promised, and has been like that for years. Again this argument that if you’re not a game developer you can’t have a say, and if you’re not a journalist you can’t call out a liar. sorry but this is a simplistic look at things. Others have covered a lot about what was said and what was actually done if any.
  5. I don’t think so, at least not entirely. He claimed Nate hasn’t lied.
  6. Know what? Think it’s a disgrace they have volunteer run forums for a 50$ EA owned by a major corporation . kudos for the volunteers but I wouldn’t do it anymore for free.
  7. It appears to be moving but it’s actually the earths rotation.
  8. Personally I’d hop on a new hype train right away if the team is completely new and is composed of people that have proven that they know what they are doing. or at least if it’s (most of) the same team that maintained KSP1 since HarvesteR left.
  9. No, because in the first day he’d ask everyone bring proof of what they did in the last months and would end up firing everyone. jokes aside, he can, but he won’t.
  10. Sorry to break it to you, but it already has, and this is true even before the last couple of days.
  11. Nice play on words. my take is in a couple of years ChatGPT will be able to do what this team couldn’t, with some smart prompt engineering. now back to topic, how’s the hype train looking like? I would too. This is why I started this topic to see how many people would do the same:
  12. ObsidianAnt usually knows what he’s saying.
  13. Wondering as per the KSP1 source code release discussion (ain't gonna happen IMO) if fans would be interested in further supporting the game if the devs would further update KSP1 and continuously improve it as they have prior to the last update? I'm thinking either a definitive edition of KSP1 or a (real) enhanced edition with stock better graphics and adding popular KSP1 mods one by one into the core game and optimising them, as it happened with Kerbal Alarm clock for example, if one can dream I'd like to see MechJeb and RP-1 being baked in, hopefully after they pay the wonderful bunch that relentlessly develop these mods. With someone who has a team that knows what they're doing, I don't see why they can't add interstellar or other things on the KSP2 roadmap. (cautiously avoiding to mention multiplayer, although modders have done it) After this KSP2 fiasco, I'm one of the people that say there's not a lot wrong with KSP1 today, so many years after it launched, and my take is any improvement, bug fix, mod that gets merged into the code, and other such extensions would further keep KSP1 relevant and an make for an increasingly enjoyable game to more and more people. I don't think there "has" to be a sequel if we can maintain KSP1 and little by little make it greater each day. And if they are smart they can over time make more money than with KSP2 and how things are looking for it today.
  14. He had to be "ambitious" in order to justify a 50$ EA. But what you read as "ambitious" I read as hyping it without being sure he has what it takes to pull it off.
  15. Wow. Just wow. what I see here is an incredibly passionate community about a game. I think this is why this EA costs 50$, because some people here really see KSP as part of their life. all they had to do is to give the slightest hint that they care about users and genuinely involve this community. you can’t possibly fail this bad with such an easy shot all lined up for you and prepared to go. The target audience was there, the game concept was there, the heaps of use feedback is there the tons of mods are there and you can very easily understand from those mods what people want in KSP2. it is literally a no brainer IF your true intent is to give people what they want and make a profit off of it in the process. which leads me to either incompetence or malicious intent or both
  16. What I meant to say is if it suddenly sold better surely T2 wouldn’t pull the plug, which would save it, in the current form. If we’re taking really saving it like really turning it in a highly acclaimed sequel instead of the disgrace it is today, then yes, the team needs to change a lot or replaced entirely with people that “get EA” and actually care and, very importantly, are competent.
  17. Why shouldn’t we hold a CM responsible for the poor communication? Look at the outrage allowed to happen in the past couple a days and we haven’t seen the CM earning his pay. I don’t think a good CM will so easily wave us off saying he can’t answer because either he can’t, he won’t or not yet know the answer. We all get it, but show some finesse and like you care. Also, unless he’s PR instead of CM, communication, especially with an EA, needs to be a two way street, not one way. I haven’t seen proof of anything getting up there to the big guy and change anything. Prolly aside of the public bug tracker which was a stupid thing to overlook in an EA.
  18. Money would save it, not a petition. Are you looking to buy it twice in the current state and with the current not so positive and uncertain future?
  19. New pictures of clouds along with trust us we know what we’re but we just can’t tell you yet.
  20. Dude, no offense, I'm sure you're a great person, but this is why the scam succeeded, because of the sugarcoating that some put on a scam. If everyone put real pressure and demanded results for what they paid at a high price, the cracks would've shown sooner. Where the hell did you get all this from? Feeling defeated, feeling broken, his reputation, his vision? Oh my... What are you talking about? Maybe it's another Nate, and not Nate aka "in the coming weeks, not months"
  21. You're thinking of suing the effect. I'm thinking the cause is the real culprit. Any of us here, if we were in charge at T2 with finding out at where the money is being wasted, I'm sure IG would stand out. And, if it turns out to be true, and every second they choose to have no statement counts (even if it really isn't true), then IG this time was the one that did stand out as the biggest money waste, so they had to take action. That's how money is being made and how you keep investors happy.
