  1. That's what I was thinking when I saw your video.
  2. Day 2 Approaching and Climbing the Stratovolcano
  3. After the first successful orbital mission of Ike in the history of Kerbalkind, data has confirmed that Ike is geologically active! The photo taken by the spacecraft below is among many taken aboard that hint at geological activity on Ike. Following the discovery, the brightest minds of the space agency have theorized that Ike's volcanic activity can be linked to Duna's tidal forces on Ike. The government has been well pleased with the Kerbal Space Agency's findings and has since granted bonus funds for future voyages to Ike. Now, the agency selected Jebediah Kerman to operate a manned rover exploration of Ike to learn more about the red planet's volcanic moon. Hi everyone! DylanSP here! I'm a new member of this forum, as you might be able to tell. When I got KSP2 in June, I was taken aback by the immersive experience. Is the game complete? No. But do I love KSP2? Without a doubt. Before I continue, I'd like to give credit to @Sp1f for inspiring me to start a ground-based circumnavigation mission of my own. You can check out their mission below. As my fictional introduction suggested, during my circumnavigation of Ike, I will be exploring the stratovolcanoes on Ike. Along the way, I hope to find places of interest and maybe even an easter egg! Inevitably though, I will have quite the bug collection along the way. So this is also an opportunity to help the developers find all the bugs and squash them! Anyway, My journey will be documented by days, which I don't mean ig days or irl days since the mission began, but rather irl days of active progress since the mission began. With all that being said, let the journey begin! Day 0 and Day 1 Preparation and the first part of the journey
  4. Reported Version: v0.1.3.2 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTF 1650 GDDR5 @ 4BG (128 bits) | RAM: 15.8 GB Someone has already mentioned this in the tech support post as shown below, but the bug is still not fixed. What led to the bug is somewhat unclear, as it randomly happened to me. Beforehand I never had any problems with solar panels. However, my specific craft that is landed at Ike is encountering this problem, and unlike the tech support post, it is persistent after both reloading and restarting the game. Something I find notable is that my solar panels start working again as the sun is almost below the horizon, and most of the night they are working, then by dawn they are "Blocked by Ike" again. I think this is straightforward enough that I don't need to show a screenshot, but please let me know if I should attach anything to help track down this bug.
  5. Testing a rover I made from scratch after getting inspired by all the awesome people in this community!
  6. Hi everyone! I played KSP1 roughly a decade ago, but I stopped playing shortly after (I was too young to figure it out). I came back in 2020 when I rediscovered it. I was truly living under a rock to not have come here then. And now I am here to play KSP2! What brought me into the forum was to report a bug, but now that I'm here I realize this place is a whole lot more than just for that. All and all, I'm excited to become involved in the KSP community! -DylanSP
  7. Can confirm. I've planted multiple flags on multiple celestial bodies, not just Mun and Minmus, and none of them ever show up on the map or tracking station.
  8. Reported Version: v0.1.3.2 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621) | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3750H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTF 1650 GDDR5 @ 4BG (128 bits) | RAM: 12.81 GB This bug report is more so 2 bugs in 1 that are connected. Events that led to the bug: 1. I was controlling a vessel in low Duna orbit 2. From there I switched to map view and attempted to control a vessel landed at Kerbin 1st bug: The blue icon remaining on the Duna vessel indicated that I did not switch control, despite doing so. 3. I switched back to vessel view 2nd bug: I noticed what appeared to be a full-scale rendition of the Kerbin landscape clipping through Duna right beside my craft. It appeared stationary relative to my craft, and I believe this ghost Kerbin may have been the area where the game failed to switch control to the craft on Kerbin, but the ghost planet's lighting and detail are off, so I can't be certain. See the screenshot for reference. 4. After zooming out a lot and rotating the camera, roughly half a minute after the ghost planet appeared, it vanished and that was it. I was able to switch to the Kerbin vessel and nothing else was weird. I don't know any definite cause for the bug, as I've done the steps that led to the bug many times without it occurring, but I did happen to change my focus a lot before the incident. It is also important to note that another Duna vessel was in close proximity (It says 578m in one of the screenshots) to the vessel I tried to switch control from. Included Attachments:
