No, I'm just occupied with other things right now. Don't worry.

Even though I was born in 1995, my third grade class had Apple IIs, so I would sometimes play this. (Thank you.)

(how do you embed Youtube videos?)

Amazing base design! Hexagons = cool

Solar freakin' roadways? Why not have a SOLAR FREAKIN' MOON!? (Just to let you know, I don't believe in the feasibility of either (especially when the cost to build them will likely outweigh the potential savings by a lot). But they are interesting concepts.)

How much dV to set Minmus straight?
Pipcard replied to airelibre's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
It's much, much easier to just make a mid-course correction on your way to Minmus. -
Pre-KSP, any time I tried to search SSTO on Youtube brought up trampolining videos. This is the only spaceplane SSTO I ever made (for the K-Prize), and it only went to low Kerbin orbit and back. The kind of SSTO I'm using right now is a vertical launch vehicle which uses nine aerospikes to carry up to 10 tons into LKO, then lands back at KSC with MechJeb. Multiple solid rocket boosters can be appended to it for extra capacity, but it wouldn't be an SSTO anymore.

There's a country called Pharthan which made these rockets the one on the right has asparagus staging
-
That's an actual command pod, not one of those exposed command seats, and you launched this with one rocket? Amazing!

NRC Report: NASA Can't Afford Mars Mission
Pipcard replied to NASAFanboy's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Mars for Less, people! (What it would look like) -

(Actually the terrain settings have been changed back to "default", and the render back to "fastest". It's the terrain shader that makes things look better.) Mission 60: Futurebase-3 Description: A stationary base module with one habitation module, three docking ports, a pair of solar arrays, and a communications dish. Mass at launch: 10025 kg Launch vehicle: Symphony-10t Mission objective: Land on the Mun. Click below to see more: https://imgur.com/a/yFMtI

I made a country known as "Hatsunia": which has a space program (in Orbiter)
-
The Symphony-10t is boosted by nine Toroidal Aerospike Rockets, can lift about 10 tons of payload into Low Kerbin Orbit, and (with Mechjeb) lands precisely back at Kerbal Space Center.

Thanks a lot! Mission 59: Moon Rabbit 1 Description: A manned Minmus lander derived from the Reusable Crew Vehicle series. Mass at launch: 9115 kg Launch vehicle: Symphony-10t Mission objective: Land near Futurebase Minmus and head inside. Crew: Shepsby Kerman, Henly Kerman, Derrigh Kerman Click below to see more: https://imgur.com/a/yFMtI

(You may notice that the terrain looks a bit better. That's because I downloaded the Active Texture Management mod, allowing me to turn up my graphics settings a bit.) Mission 58: Futurebase-2 Description: A wheeled laboratory module with two docking ports and scientific equipment. Mass at launch: 5585 kg (11718 kg with transfer tug) Launch vehicle: Symphony-10t-2S Mission objective: Land on Minmus and dock to Futurebase-1. Click below to see more: https://imgur.com/a/Dh5w4

Mod Virgin - Career playing with "Better Than Starting Manned"
Pipcard replied to Dave Kerbin's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I really love the solar panels on the Hall-1 transfer stage. The probe that lands looks really cool, too. -
How did you start your KSP learning curve?
Pipcard replied to nobbers12345's topic in KSP1 Discussion
First day, I got a satellite into orbit. Granted, I have Orbiter experience. -
After a 7-month hiatus, KASDA is finally back! I left KASDA for a long while because I wasn't sure what to do next (also, I was doing other things on the computer). After career mode and science points were introduced, I was wondering if I should start over. Eventually, I decided to keep this sandbox playthrough going. The thing is, I realized that Moon Princess 7 wasn't very fun to drive in the lower gravity. So that "mission 57" is now non-canon. Also, the Symphony launchers are now designated as "t" instead of "k". Mission 57: Futurebase-1 Description: A stationary base module with one habitation module, one docking port, a pair of solar arrays, and a communications dish. Mass at launch: 8299 kg Launch vehicle: Symphony-10t Mission objective: Land on Minmus. Click below to see more: https://imgur.com/a/ancEm

This is a problem that needs to be fixed when we have budgets: FL-T800 Fuel Tank (1.25 m) - Fuel/Oxidizer: 360 L/440 L - Cost: 1600 (2 kerbucks/liter of propellant) Rockomax X200-8 Fuel Tank (2.5 m) - Fuel/Oxidizer: 360 L/440 L - Cost: 900 (~1.13 kerbucks/liter of propellant) Rockomax Jumbo-64 Fuel Tank (2.5 m) - Fuel/Oxidizer: 2880 L/3520 L (8 times the propellant in the X200-8) - Cost: 12500 (~1.95 kerbucks/liter of propellant)

Are your asteroid capture missions manned or unmanned?
Pipcard replied to katateochi's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well, NASA's planning to do it unmanned, so... -
I want to see your Asteroid Tugs!
Pipcard replied to spikeyhat09's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
First attempt at redirecting an asteroid (to this orbit). It's a C-class. -
It looks 1.5 times wider than the 2.5m tanks.
