  1. Please leave politics out of forum discussions, as that never ends well. Also, we all feel very strongly about things we feel would make the game better or worse, but please don't let those strong feelings turn fellow forum members into enemies. We can disagree with each other without blaming each other for the course of the game's development. Please, talk about the game rather than each other.
  2. Hmm. Quite an old thread. The parts depicted have different stats now. What say we close this to avoid confusion?
  3. KSP does not simulate Lagrange points. Furthermore, this is a subject that has been talked to death and tends to cause arguments, earning it a place on the What Not to Suggest list. Let's please not get into it again, whether as a suggestion or not.
  4. As Gaarst says, landing on Kerbin is far harder than landing on Mun. Everything happens faster in heavier gravity. Have you tried adding a parachute to slow your fall to a more Mun-like pace? But really, you might be better off flying to Mun and practicing landing there.
  5. Show your planes here, guys. There are other places for aerodymanics discussions. And on that subject, in the 3 years I've been playing KSP, here is only my second SSTO plane that can deliver useful cargoes to orbit. This is the SP-49 (yes, 47 failed attempts) Neoeos. Here it is delivering a 5.6 ton test payload to orbit. It's got so much lift in new aero that it tends to 'bounce' off the atmosphere and start climbing again during re-entry, so I'm badly overshooting my intended landing spots while I get used to it. So I had to do a big braking turn and come around again... ... but I did manage to set it down on the runway. My success would not have been possible without a lot of help from other players, especially AmpsterMan and Red iron Crown.
  6. Everybody here loves space, or they wouldn't be playing this game. What got you interested? For me, it was watching Apollo guys walk on the moon on live tv. (I am old.)
  7. Please talk about the movie rather than each other's personalities.
  8. Welcome to the forum, LightStrikeBoom. I'm sorry to greet one of your first posts so harshly, but more planets and solar systems is one of the topics which has been discussed so endlessly that it has been placed on our list of things not to suggest again, for the sake of keeping forum discussions moving along productive lines. This thread will be closed now.
  9. Welcome to the forum, RedHyphen. For your pictures to be displayed here, though, you will need to upload them to a picture hosting site such as Imgur.com. It's free and you don't even need an account. What you will need, though, is to copy the BBCode link they provide into your posts here.
  10. Threads on the same subject have been merged.
  11. He's gone. Time to move on.
  12. The wiki is updated as folks have time to contribute to it. Feel free to help out, if you want.
  13. They haven't stopped making them. They're just taking dealing with the 1.0 release and taking a break.
  14. The thing you are trying to click on is only an indicator light. Toggle SAS on and off with the T key, as Deflinek is advising. You will see that light go on and off, but it's not a button itself.
  15. As this is not a suggestion but a question about the nuts-and-bolts of the simulation, it has been moved to Gameplay Questions.
  16. You could get sucked into somebody's violent inner world. I reminded people of a terrible Jennifer Lopez movie. What could possibly go wrong?
  17. Then do not post in a thread that is about the testing and QA team, as this one is. This is your opinion. It does not entitle you to diverge from the topic. However, since this thread absolutely refuses to stay on-topic, it's time to put an end to it.
  18. We will need more information to help you with this. Please provide more details, as set forth in this guide.
  19. Congratulations. But as this is not about the game itself, the thread has been moved to the Space Lounge.
  20. These suggestions for the game's development have been moved to the Suggestions sub-forum.
  21. They haven't stopped making the Devnotes. They just came out with a big release and have not yet done much toward the next version yet, so there's not much to report right now.
  22. This report of a mission has been moved to Mission Reports.
  23. This discussion for the game's development has been moved to Development Discussions.
