Endersmens, I had that editing problem in IE, but I don't experience it in Chrome. If you do want to stay with IE, just refresh the page (F5) and you'll be able to edit again. Haven't run into your second issue, myself.
If you are asking how to fly to Mun here is a walkthrough I wrote. If you are asking what kind of ship will do it, the walkthrough comes with one you can download.
Remember, you can't just stick something in there once, and it works forever more. Software needs to be maintained, revised, etc. This is much harder to do if you didn't write the code in the first place, and it's not organized the way you would have set things up. Also, what happens when Squad starts making money off of a mod-maker's code? The mod-maker would have to be compensated in some way. How much would they need to pay for that? It's a whole big can of worms.
Journalists often feel they need to exaggerate things. In the article I real, this thing only fooled 1/3rd of the judges in a 5 minute interaction. That's not a whole lot better than Cleverbot.
With regard to some removed posts, if you feel someone is being rude, simply hit the report button on the post and move on. Replying to problems just tends to prolong problems.
Please keep in mind that political discussions are not allowed on this forum, as they devolve into arguments and accusations. The practices of one government versus another falls under politics, as do opinions about Greenpeace, so folks will need to avoid those digressions or we will be forced to close the thread. Also, some of you seem pretty close to losing your tempers. Please take a step back and come down, or the result could be infractions and thread closure.
To clear up some misunderstandings: Squad has no plans for any post-1.0 DLC's. The subject came a while ago and a lot of people got mad,so Squad announced that if, *IF* they ever made any expansions, those who purchased it before a date last year would have them included for no additional charge. But nothing of that sort is planned.
My kerbal had been out for a hike on Duna, and as he got close to the lander again, the ship suddenly shot off into the distance at great speed. It didn't fly away, mind you. It just zipped off horizontally and was gone in a second. I loaded a save and tried again, and off the ship went again. I loaded once more and approached walking rather than running, and the ship sat there calmly and allowed the pilot to get in and fly home.
Hello kenneth keel and welcome to the forum. I'm afraid folks will need a lot more information than that to be able to help. What mods do you have installed? When does this message come up?
It's hard to tell from that picture, but it looks like you're using a lot of non-vectoring engines, which do not help with attitude control. What does the ship look like at the time of the problem, without the ejected stages?
Hello NewportBox, and welcome to the forum. Here's a suggestion: keep crashing until it works. That's really the only way to get anywhere in this game. On a more serious note, try uncrewed probes that transmit data on one-way missions. A lot of players are unhappy with those because they only return a small fraction of the potential science gathered. But that doesn't take into account how cheap they are, and how much science, in absolute terms, they can acquire. I've played 2 campaigns now, only sending Kerbals on the first few flights before probe cores are available.
Hello owmanthathurt, and welcome to the forum. Trial and error is just how one learns this game. Especially with aircraft, there's no way to make something work the first time.
