  1. Well, Bac9 should know. You could PM him in case he doesn't check this thread very often anymore.
  2. Also, Alt + a direction will trim the craft, which can help if after re-designing your plane, it still has a tendency to turn one way.
  3. Now, out of guilt, I will only fly manned missions! (And kill a live Kerbal instead.)
  4. Hmm, the image isn't showing up for me. EDIT: Or am I stupid?
  5. Well just go ahead and post it here for now. OP can answer later!
  6. That... Is all one sentence! :0 By the way, relevant.
  7. Could you elaborate on that one part? I don't quite understand what you mean, sorry. But now I'm also really interested in finding that chart... If only the forums search bar worked better.
  8. You can split the burn up into a few parts over the course of multiple orbits. You would do a little but of the burn on one pass of the maneuver node, then warp around again, and burn a little more, then continue this process until you gain enough speed to scape Kerbin. The only con of that being that it would mess up the maneuver node and you wouldn't be able to use it's information after you pass it the first time. This method will allow you to slowly gain enough speed to escape Kerbin while not forcing you to sacrifice fuel-efficiency for TWR.
  9. It's important to make sure the phase angles are correct, because it's unlikely that you would be able to successfully encounter Dres just like that. Do what Vanamonde suggested and use that website to plan your mission. Alternatively, you could play around with maneuver nodes while in solar orbit and if you can't get an intersect, warp forward and try again, although that's not nearly as time-efficient as getting it right the first time.
  10. It sounds a lot like that 3900 m/s is including the dV required to also get into orbit. Redo your calculations, maybe?
  11. I can't see any atmospheric engines. How could this make it to orbit purely with NERVAs?
  12. Well, we're still looking at 2017-2020, really.
  13. Well I don't have a smartphone, so I'll just admire the work going on here from the outside. Would you be able to develop the same thing for Android? If so, why haven't you already??
  14. Also, could someone explain to me why my tracks might not be working? Only the largest will work for me, but the rest either only rotate or can only brake. I tried pressing 'G' a few times already, but that hasn't helped. I switched between rover controls and general controls as well, which also had no effect. I know this is just in alpha still, but it looks like everyone else can at least move the tracks.
  15. As someone who doesn't understand computers very well, could you explain how much is possible with this?
  16. This thread is gonna explode! I absolutely love the modding community; something like this can be expected on any day. EDIT: You might get some complaining about the fact that the full version will cost, but for the work that seems to have been put into this, a lot of people would be happy to be able to pay a developer for their awesome work! Actually, a lot of these mod makers deserve to be paid for their mods.
  17. Woops, apologies for that. I still need to figure out how to include two quotes in one post. I know that they plan on doing it, but some of the joy of discovering it will be taken out because we already know what's out there.
  18. I don't know why everyone wants to have multiple vessels. It could be fun to have one craft be run by multiple players, similar to real life, all with their own responsibilities. But I guess that brings up an equal amount of problems...
  19. Ah, thank you very much. And I really don't mind what we're getting, because as Nutt007 just mentioned, if anyone can edit the source code, we will have a lot of different star systems made by people who know what they're doing. I'm very excited about where this is going now.
  20. Excellent! Good job syncing the audio with the video.
  21. So is Kragrathea making the planets now or something?
  22. We've seen a few plugins like this already, but nothing this advanced, and with such a nice GUI Also, all those plugins are now outdated, so it's awesome to see another one coming along!
