  1. Wow, I've been trying to do the same thing. Only thing is, I gave up on the sky crane and a descent stage underneathen the rover was what I ended up doing. I'll make a download for it later. Anyways, great design you have there. BTW, for the rover, why not power it with rcs?
  2. I made a (stock) mun station that includes a rcs rover. The descent stage is very stable and can even return to kerbin. The rover itself can also return to kerbin. I'll make a download if you ask.
  3. I made a glider named: 'Polar Express'. I was originally designed to be launched like SpaceShipOne, but I failed to build a carrier aircraft for it, so I straped on some rockets 8). It can be boosted into orbit and glide back safely. Please note that it is rocket powered and can glide as soon as it gets off the ground. Note the low profile if the plane, as explained above^. On the north pole with Bill Kerman! Download: BTW this ship was renamed, its originally name was 'SpaceGlider' https://sites.google.com/site/giggleplex777/-crafts/Polar%20Express.craft?attredirects=0&d=1 Enjoy!
  4. Yup, the heavier the rocket, the harder it is to take of and get into orbit. That\'s because the heavier the rocket the more thrust it needs to take-off, therefore, more fuel is needed to feed the engines, making the rocket heavier. Smaller rockets may seem pathetic, but as long as the rocket can get into orbit and still have enough fuel to burn to the moon, land, get back into kerbin orbit, and retro-burn (your lander should have enough fuel for that), you can, well, land on the Mun (and even Minus)! BTW: First post!
