  1. Rotate 90 degrees so that your wings are perpendicular to the ground, turn the nose up fast, and then try to slow it down.
  2. Playing around with tailsitter designs. They work surprisingly well, but they'll never be great VTOLs.
  3. Thanks! I accidentally figured out the docking port technique while I was trying to avoid using cubic struts. I was going to vote for your entry, but I clicked on the wrong one. *Facepalm* Tarmenius's entry was pretty good anyways. BTW, it's "he".
  4. I happen to have the four finalists parked on top of the VAB already.
  5. Everyone's hating on the jet-powered entries, but I recently learned to fly jet VTOLs from testing these entries. They may be difficult to fly at first, but they provide a good learning experience later on.
  6. My votes: Edit: Reviews: I originally wrote a few lines for some of the crafts, but that took too much time so I'm going with the + - system. 7. I think you attach a fuel line from the vehicle's docking port to the vehicle's tanks. Any new tanks docked to the docking port will drain in to the vehicle's tanks (attach it to the short center tanks in your case). Also, check your fuel lines to see if they are going the right direction. The first end you put on is where the fuel drains from and the second end is where the fuel goes. If you still can't fix it, send me the .craft file and I'll see what I can do.
  8. Kerbal powered airplane challenge: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/68414-Kerbal-Powered-Aircraft-Challenge
  9. I only used 1 cubic strut be cause I was afraid that the thrust would be blocked.
  10. Has anyone tried this? I've yet to see anyone with a different "My Profile".
  11. The jet engine is toggled by action group 1. If it doesn't work, you should redownload the .craft file.
  12. Haha I was caught off guard by that while testing and I went up 1km before coming back down on the VAB.
  13. Yes! I wanted to get the big nozzle look of the LT-T30 with the thrust vectoring and efficiency of the LV-909. I not to sure about whether I like the glowing 909 or not, but it was to keep the part count count and for the thrust to get through the engines.
