    Today I Space Shuttled.

    The first real mission of Odysseus v2.0, STS-01A. The mission was to install the new solar panels to a space station as well as transfer its over to the station. The shuttle was modified to accommodate the larger RCS tug, which was used to assemble the components.

    Glad you liked it! There is a parachute, in case you do have to ditch the shuttle. One problem I had with it was that it glides like a brick, despite having so many lifting surfaces. I think the swept wings the culprits, as they act weirdly when placed sideways.

    I'm currently working on a shuttle shuttle replica that is as realistic looking as I can get while staying below 200 parts. I'll try to release it today. Here's picture of it during a glide test:

    Yes. The plane was pretty easy to build, anyways. I actually wanted to test the gliding ability of the shuttle, especially after the lost of two returning spacecraft.

    I haven't tested the second version on a rocket yet, so I'm going to try it now. I also widened the cargo bay a bit so the shuttle looks better.
