Planes flipping under SAS when pitching up quickly (tested on Aeris 3A). 2. SAS doesn't do much about roll, especially on probes (The roll arrow doesn't even move a notch). 3. SAS isn't aggressive enough when flying asymmetrical crafts (that worked before 0.21).

That's caused by its lower-than-usual drag value (0.1 instead of 0.2).

Sean's right. Quickly pitching up in the Aeris 3A will cause it to point at retrograde, and a tiny amount of input will return the plane to prograde. The longer you fly the plane, the more this happens. Can someone make a video of this happening?

Could this be the cause to SAS problems?

I don't think these work in 0.21 anymore. My helicopters and swivel jets don't work anymore.

I think we should keep the new SAS (with some bug fixes, of course) and get the old ASAS back with a different model. That way, everyone's happy.

So, I decided to chill and enjoy the update (like I should of). I quickly made a Pioneer 4-like probe (but with solar panels) and a Thor-Able and performed a flyby of the Mun.

It flips when apply a small amount of pitch. It mainly happens away from KSC.

It's even worse on probes. You have constantly fix roll, yaw, and pitch during the gravity turn.

No, flies fine with SAS off.

On my trip to the new mountains, it did 22 backflips. The final of which, killed Jeb. I can even take it past 6km before EPICFLIPPYFLATSPINSPARKSEXTRAVAGANZA.
