Listen, would female kerbals be added, they wouldn't look like models. They would have to wear no makeup, have short hair, and would basically look like male kerbals. And besides, IRL the vast majority of astronauts are male, and I don't see you writing petitions to the White House. Honestly, this is a non-issue, the game is NOT centered around the kerbals themselves. I don't want green humans of different genders, I want green little things that happily ride an SRB into a wall at 2km/sec.

The player-base, who would rather see the devs spend time on core aspects of the game, like mining, instead of insignificant things that don't affect gameplay in any way.

And this, is exactly why people find feminists to be extremely annoying and irritating. Yep, kerbals look so much like men, the resemblance is just uncanny. Their names are the only male thing about them.

Not quite an analog, still has the same shortcoming as any other stock shuttle: It has engines on the main fuel tank.

You can make a much simpler rocket with less fuel on board to get a kerbal up in LKO.
