It is indeed alive and will continue to be. I've been away a while. I had to focus on securing my assistantship funding instead of, you know, enjoying my life. -

I've really been digging the tiny probes. Any way I can convince you to officially turn on surface attach so we can slap on Mechjeb and lights, a dish, mapper, etc.. I've tried it locally and it works great. One of the MechJeb versions causes some oddness, but one of them works perfectly. I don't have the notes in front of me at the moment. SAS might be a bit too powerful, though. The thing rocks around like crazy. Turns out pretty cool: Made a tug with 12 deployable probes with dishes. There's another one that I did for mapping, but no pics. http://imgur.com/a/54ZLe#0 Can you go more in detail with the aeroprobes and the mini probes with the main description? Some aspects are confusing. -

Fixed some things. Updated description. I updated only hours before the site madness. I broke KSP Link is up on KSPort: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/jebcorp-model-209-sphere-ball-probe/ Also, local couch-surfing-eats-all-my-food roommate and ksp test dummy"Sixteenbit" will be taking over development of things I don't have done. It's too bad. I had a lot of REALLY fun parts that worked... two versions ago... I'm contemplating releasing some of it as is (some are updated to .19) like the nuclear generator, some fuel tanks, monoprop tanks. I can't get the ion engines to work anymore though. Still investigating that. Either way, it'll be up to Sixteenbit to do it. -
Multiple zoom levels are implemented as separate cameras with differing fovs. It really doesn't do anything in space, though. Untested with the new camera release/new mechjeb, but I don't think there's been a change.

When it's done, but not too long that it's no longer anticipated. I have been assigned to a research project, so my time's been limited. I keep meaning to finish up over the weekends, but something else has come up four weekends in a row. So soon, but not tomorrow. Also not never. I had initially wanted to have a release by now... There is a range from 100% complete down to about 75% complete, so that's the good news!

:-D The current plan is to use the same textures, but to apply smoothing and move everything to Unity. I had planned on doing it over the last week or so, but I've been placed on a research project. I am limited in the amount of hours I can spend on gaming-related stuff, so my mods are on hold. None of them are dead, just on pause! Spertnik will probably stay the same overall, but just become shinier.

3d artist wants something to do

You could do the Red Bull Stratos, just for fun. It seems that the toys get pretty good use these days. -
Any word on what I pm'd you about? I've been trying to make it work, but I've got nothing.

I haven't had as much fun since Legos. Also -- It's a pretty awesome coincidence that your stuff looks great on mine. I can see a whole relay network coming up with 1/3 Kosmos parts in the near future...

...Dat leg...

Just now getting a chance to fire up the new Angara toys. Holy crap man. +rep for you.

1. Silisko. 2. Even though it's become open source, you can't create a logo without the consent or endorsement of the original owner. 3. I thought Nutt called this one? 4. That's okay if he did -- you should fork yours so it doesn't overwrite the originals. Add PV_Probe.[partname] to folders and part names and you'll be ahead of the game if anyone else wants to update the kit as well. You then are attributed to that fork. 5. I'll test these for you and see what I come up with, but -- BUT, I'll only ask that you add a link to the Silisko industries thread here and post a license similar to his. Consider all of these things and people won't come down so hard. I'm glad so see you're still trying to get into development despite a few setbacks. I'll take a look after I finish a paper...

[.19 PARTS] JebCorp M-209 SPHERE ball probe system

I'll take a look. This significantly increases the weight of the system. I'll have to rebalance the engine. I wanted to keep the whole thing low weight so the engine would be useless to anything else. -

Trying to fix this. Although I haven't mentioned it, it's a HUGE annoyance to me. -

Do you have/need any reference models of Viking? I have a few I won't be using if you'd like me to send them on.
