Are you going to do a Mk3 fuselage expansion? Also, is there any way you could use Module Manager to totally replace the models in the stock game with your new ones?
I've always said that Triton is the closest a camera has been to a dwarf planet. But, keep in mind that it is in orbit around another body which may cause tidal forces, and is about as massive as the Moon. I think it looks just like it does in Space Engine. Nevertheless, we will know soon.
I once messed with orbiter, but it was just too hard. Then, after searching Spore-like games (expecting biology or evolution and such, of course) I found KSP, and I downloaded the demo. A week later, shortly after 0.16, I bought the full version.
1: Please use grammar and punctuation and capital letters properly. 2:The parts are in the tech tree roughly based on when they were added. The Devs even said this.
That ice cap scan from the enterprise gives me chills! I remember that voyager episode, and you are attempting to say that Kerbin is where the failed slipstream test landed?
No, autopilot is a control over where you want to go, like mechjeb. automation is more like The Sims on free-will mode, you don't control them, and you can only watch as they ruin their life or help their own life.
Alternis Kerbol and the PlanetFactory mods all properly change the way missions work, but since it's known by enough people what the planets are and where they are, it still works. Procedural universe won't work because the universe is so big no one will EVER find an identical thing, but with Alternis Kerbol things are different but still relatable. And nevertheless, if you wont do this, I'll just have to get someone else to do it (cough)Mirrodin(cough)
The mod that adds physics loading range will be needed for this I think. EDIT: and yes, even if it's above the 30 km despawn limit, the ships orbit will not degrade because no physics is actually loaded.
One thing I would like to stress, and I'm not sure from some of the sketches I've seen if this is or is not the case, but I believe it's important. I think you should be able to be just as creative and modular with these peices as the stock parts, by only using these and deleting the stock ones.
