  1. Noone up to this? You realize, there are other parts besides the antimatter engines? For egzample, the FTL drive i did not disqualify. Also, you dont need to get to warp 10, you just need to get to planets.

  3. Well, i have been to.... Duna manned Eve Manned crashing, unmanned landing Jool orbit (gas giant, dont land on it) Tylo Unmanned with 1.5 L left of fuel. PROOF: (I made it, mechjeb TRYED to get to tylo, but i did it manually because mechjeb FAILED)
  4. Dear kerbanaughts, I am afraid that no matter what I do, the landing gear sound wont work. Its probably due to the length of the sound, so i would have to make landing gear that opens in 2 minutes. i also tried engines, but to no avil. However, I have made a group of new parts, that are very useful. uploading in a minute.
  5. Correct. So, here is better explination: This is a small landing gear, that when you press g, it plays a sound. So, to replace it, symply dl the song, and rename it sound_servomotor.wav

  11. Well, ive been playing ksp for about... 5 months or so, but created this account closer, and i never did post a "welcome aboard" post. So, HI! Btw, Where have you been to?   13. What wrong with them? .cfg edits? I did say i allowed mods, so there are plenty of good engines. I allow all mods, except the ones that cheat (like the ctrl+shift+D)
  14. Mun, minimus, orbiting jool, Duna, flyby of ike, crashed into eve.
  15. Attention kerbals! With the new planets, Karfleet needs somthing to get there faster, stay longer, and go farther. Your mission: Build a starship. How a starship is a starship: You can use the Orbital Construction mod to make it. (there is fix, he says right on the OP) The starship must have alot of fuel, and be able to make it to Atleast 2 planets, and back to kerbin (only orbiting nesscary, unless you want to make yours intrepid class) The starship should be big, and go fast. It must have a "similarity" to it. Leaderboard: #1: sephirotic #2: Sloth #3: StrangeyD #4: Iplop #5: Rewards: Intrepid class: Make it land on a planet! (Like VOY) Galaxy class: Make it able to seperate and connect again. Look-Alike!: Make it look like the real thing Powerfull!: Make it able to liftoff from kerbin (SSTO, its a starship, not a rocket) Now thats some footage!: Make a vid Sound effects! Edit the engines to play a star trek sound! Docking!: Make a shuttle be able to undock/dock! Saving time and money!: Make it all stock. Rules: 1:NO config editing, Mods however are allowed. 2:Must post pics of being in orbit of two planets, when its built, and when its home. 3:make sure to post pictures in between, because teleporting to planets is ILLEGAL MOVE. Addtitonal option: insted of Orbital construction, U can use CTRL SHIFT ALT D to give infinite fuel and strength, ONLY to get it into orbit. Disallowed mods: Anything that can cheat. (besides Orbital construction) However, Anti-matter antimatter engines mod ARE allowed, but deduct 10 points. This will be adding up over time. Remember, NERVAS are very good. Especially the novapunch ones. Also, U can use Romfarez lazor system to beam down kerbals on galaxy classes. MAJOR NOTE: I said for karfleet officers only. Karfleet= Starfleet Therefor, what i mean by starship, is somthing that looks like a STAR TREK starship. Not any other ones.   17. I have gone through the mun before. in 0.14. it happened when going at high speed, trying to land, then lag got me, and i went right through the mun. I also noticed in 0.16 that when i ejected my skycrane, it was actually orbiting, but going INTO the mun. Sure, this is a good booster, but lets face it, who wants to use a bug to get there? i never used the fuel glitch either. (jeb probably wants to tho)
  18. That could be a idea, my idea was this: (btw, i play trackmania too, wanna play? (ive actually never experienced what you mean) ) When a player joins the game, everyone is at 1x warp. now, when you want to accelerate to say, 100x, it loads you on to a different "section" of the server, witch while you are in that speed, you only see players going 100x, because you are in that "section", kinda like joining a mini server within a server. Also, this topic may get locked quickly. the topic has been descussed to death.
  19. Um, what is this, I dont get what: A: You are talking about B: Why are you putting this in addon releases and project showcase? Well, since your new, I guess thats why.
  20. Orbiting is more effeciant. How? Look at mechjeb. in ascent autopilot, hit stats. you will see the line: Gravity speed (or whatever) gravity, when rocket is pointing straight up, waists its Delta-V, almost 2000 Dv is lost because of the main ascent part. thats why we do gravity turns, to minimize the effect of gravity, therefor wasting less deltav. heck, the current route you are taking might be consuming 5000 D-v!

  23. Its too bad that i didnt play ksp earlier These are great tutoirals, but maybe you could move on to "Advanced" tutorials? Like, getting to jool, duna, ect. (mainly jool, duna is easy )
