  1. I have an idea to pitch here, -and it may sound crazy- but perhaps we could have server types? For example: Atmospheric servers, no timewarp (it's the atmosphere, after all.), and the limit of where you can see other players to is removed, so when somebody spawns a craft, you see it. You can still go to space, but there's no timewarp, to prevent atmospheric screw-ups, so it's better to use normal servers. This could be for dog-fighting or just messing around without having to meet at KSC. Perhaps instead of showing the "clear track" message when something is on the runway, it would wait until there's nothing on it and then put you down. and, of course, normal servers, just like it currently is.
  2. I volunteer as a tribute! Er, I mean may I please test these beautiful tank-majigs?
  3. Yes, the top value on the panel is the speed.
  4. I find the trick is to add limitations on the joints, and make them work quickly. Another thing is that if you are constantly tripping, use ankles and toes to move the feet away from the ground.
  5. So a while ago, I saw a post about a bipedal robot, titled "Mr. Roboto", and I thought: "Surely I can do that, too!". And so I did. I have posted a video down below, because a video is ilitterally worth 60 frame captures But first, instructions and specs! SPECS: Top speed: 12.6 km/h or 7-ish mph. (4m/s) Flying speed: This is a mech, not a plane. Leg resistance: Slinky legs. Articulation level: Arthritis turtle. Difficulty: Devil may cry. That is all. Instructions: Set the top value to anything from 3 to 5, which is the speed. Set all the other values to 5, and set the "boing" value to 100. O moves the right leg forwards, bends the respective knees, toes, and ankles, and moves the other foot out of the way. L does *litterally* the exact opposite. So basically: And now, f̶o̶r̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶l̶e̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶d̶i̶f̶f̶e̶r̶e̶n̶t̶.̶ the video. Note: It usually works, it just HATES hills. And finally: DOWNLOAD!
  6. You could easily do this, given enough time. Kraken drives, you see.
  7. I think this is a great idea. The problem is figuring out how we would so this. maybe a pwings type thing.
  8. I believe it was from a mod made by the same guy that did the carrier-ships mod.
  9. Yes, i think i did include the following: jet-powered helicopter, air-to air missile, krakendrive-plane, rocket-powered abomination, jet-powered abomination, and many more! EDIT: Oh, and a giant mecha suit.
  10. I think I'll post some planes, myself!
  11. This looks interesting.. Time to make a kerbal cannon to get him up there! EDIT: I lied.
  12. I'm liking these planes! I may post a few, myself.
  13. Finally, I can make KSP play "Trust me, I'm an engineer!" while building.
  14. Crafts need to just turn into goop and fall to the sun. Get to work, Squad!
  15. Awesome entries, guys! I'll add them to the leaderboard!
  16. Bump.. someone tell me if I should remove this challenge, it seems to be pretty unresponsive
  17. For this challenge, you must perform the highest G turn in a jet powered aircraft! Rules: You cannot leave the lower atmosphere. (This means the first light bluer bar on the atmosphere gauge.) For the love of kerb, use wings. include pictures of your plane on the runway, flying, and doing something cool, for style. No rocket propulsion. No alt+f12 Part clipping is allowed, just be "reasonable" (This means you should be able to actually see the clipped parts.) No boosters, either. (I'm looking at you, Jeb.) Use only jet propulsion. (sorry. I meant atmospheric propulsion...) Post a screenshot of your f3 menu, for proof of how many G's you caused to your poor kerbal. To measure your G's, do repetitive loops and acrobatics until the G meter goes up to something you like. The plane does NOT have to be able to land. Finally, FAR and non-FAR entries will go in separate leaderboards. Leaderboards: FAR winners: -Palker, 42g! Epic trophy! -xxjetterxx, 38.9g. Album here: http://imgur.com/a/xAtZQ No trophy. I created the challenge, no fun if I count my entry -misz, 37g. Gold trophy! -SoldierHair, 20.5g. Silver trophy! - - Stock winners: -Right, 23g! on stock! -PanzerKnocf, 15g. Gold trophy! -Kenobi mccormick, 13g. Silver trophy trophy! -Halo_003, 12.8g. Copper trophy! - - Strange winners: -I.T. Marcus, stock. 19g, strange, it looks like an infiniglider, maybe send in a video...
  18. One atom of antimatter could at least damage the SMAW to the point of not working, since antimatter annhilates matter spectacularly when the two come into contact, correct me if i'm wrong though.
