Very good start, I can tell you put some care into it, unlike a lot of reskins which are usually just: 'open fuelTank texture in paint, use flood fill tool.' If I might make a suggestion, the purple tint seems a bit strange. Compare to real carbon fibre, which is mostly grey with a very slight blue tint sometimes.

Don\'t use the decoupler fairings for engines. You can if you want, but there will be a gap. I\'ll add a 0.25m high piece for your construction pleasure, though =P

@insomniac: Thanks! I think I might include those black skins of yours as an alternate pack when the next release comes around. With your permission of course. In other news, I can\'t stop playing with these hinges:

No idea. Right now, it\'s a fairly hacky solution, but it works well enough to be considered early release quality. Eventually I want to clean it up, but for now it will do.

There\'s actually no nozzle at all, except in for the annular aerospike(which Slug\'s was). Usually, it\'s quite literally just a flat surface, since all the rocket thrust comes from nozzles along the outside (inside as well in the case of the annular variant):

Just a note, usually the spikes are very slightly flat on the end.

The 'fins' around the edges are actually where the rocket exhaust comes out of.

Yeah I\'ve gotten mixed opinions about the orange textures. I might make differing texture packs for them (saturn style black/white stripes, olive green soviet style...), but for now the orange is staying until I get the parts themselves sorted out. As for the small pod, I\'m going to make a diagram to see if you actually COULD squeeze in life support equipment.
