Strange "Asteroid" J002E3
Designer225 replied to Kerbin Dallas Multipass's topic in Science & Spaceflight
We might be able to retrieve it in 2032... if our technology is advanced enough. -
I frequently start turning to 60~70 degrees when I hit 8 km, then 55~60 degrees when I hit 20 km, or when the apoapsis hits 30km, whichever comes first, later 45~50 degrees when I hit 30km, or when the Ap hits 50km, whichever comes first; next up 35 degrees when I hit 40km (or when Ap hits 60km, whichever comes first), 20 degrees when I hit 50km (or when Ap hits 80km, whichever comes first), 10 degrees when Ap hits 85km, 0 degrees when Ap hits 90km, -20km when Ap hits 95km or when the Ap hits 90km ahead of plans, whichever comes first. I generally stops at 100km, but sometimes at higher orbit. In very few cases the Ap was on the other side of the planet. In the case with Periapsis below the ground, I have some 400m/s of Delta-V to burn, but in the case with Pe above the ground, I have less than 366m/s of Delta-V to burn.

For now Kerbol (the Sun) have no SOI limits (will have it later on), nor it has a wall (will not have it later on). So yeah, you can go anywhere, but in future updates when new star systems are added there would possibly be a galactic SOI (no limits until SQUAD decided to add more galaxies), then new solar SOI will be added and all solar SOI will be limited.
-
That is indeed a workaround, but it works at most 100% of the time (<=100%). There is another way to do this, although it would be the most confusion way to do it.

Although it is for Android, only specific Android phones could do it. So yeah, the sentence of "for Android" should be changed to "for most Android devices." IT may not be compatible with all devices. BTW, did you updated the Android OS? I think only specific Android OS works with the game. But like others said, it could be a hardware issue (or both). ================= Smupiter Ascent Challenge ================= Let's conquer Smupiter... by launching from Smupiter! You do not have to go to Smupiter from Smearth... You can build a rocket and launch it from Smupiter. Let's break the (possible) myth of "cannot achieve orbit from Jupiter!" Okay, just try and see if you can. I would like to see the grandest rockets and explosions EVER!

Starmade (Because search turned up a whole lot of nothing)
Designer225 replied to Galacticruler's topic in The Lounge
I would like to join a KSP community server too, for now which server are we using to hangout? -
Ummm... how do you rescue with only 1 pod?

Downloaded the game. Not sure if my Intel HD Graphics can handle this game...

Ohhh school... why does some (or most, depending on the location) hate school? But I do get weird feelings of newcomers going to middle school... In Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley, if you prefer to say it in more "technologically" advanced way) when kids go to middle school, they go at 6th grades. That feeling happened when I'm 7th grade, and now. (P.S. I'm in 8th grade.)

A total nostalgia of KSP... I can remember KSP 0.13.3, the old demo... good times...

Life is NOT possible on the Moon. Life can be possible somewhere else, but as we know KSP is not gonna have other life forms. So... feel free to land your Kerbals on the Mun. I've landed on the Mun a while ago, and no spiders. Apollo 18 is science fiction, most people knew that there's no life on the Moon.

Just a note: KSPF prohibits HTML codes. Try some BB codes. Anyway, here is your picture:

[AAR] The Grand Tour - Voyage To The Planets
Designer225 replied to czokletmuss's topic in KSP Fan Works
Well, there are several parts of the AAR that aren't written into the chapters. I say they are cut --- meaning they are not included in the final version. By the way, do you know that the Outsiders movie (originated from the Outsiders book by S.E. Hilton) has 2 versions: shorter version (with several cuts) and longer, full version (with all scenes included). -
Well, I don't have the best Internet (and ISS usually have the slowest internet, said an astronaut 1 year ago during the Dragon's first Cargo flight to ISS), but here is the result of the so-called AT&T U-verse high speed internet Elite while running several IE tabs at once... Yeah, not much. EDIT: I'm gonna do the same thing again, only this time I'm gonna test to the other side of the world! EDIT 2: Test result (Station: Hong Kong) Better... but by not much. EDIT 3: Tested back to my home town: (Station: Palo Alto, but I lived few miles southeast of the city ) EDIT 4: Tested on San Jose, CA. Will do another test on San Jose, but on different station. EDIT 5: Last test of the day on San Jose. For now, I'm done. I wonder, who had the slowest internet of the USA?

Designer225 replied to czokletmuss's topic in KSP Fan Works
If this is been made a movie, there will be several Director's. Don't you think? Either way, great chapter! -
You Will Not Go To Space Today - Post your fails here!

Your rocket is woefully unbalanced. Try symmetry (and struts) to keep your rocket in one piece. -
[AAR] The Grand Tour - Voyage To The Planets
Designer225 replied to czokletmuss's topic in KSP Fan Works
You know, we could really need excitements. I wonder if Czo's KSP broke... Anyway, I'm (kinda) looking forward to further chapters. Just don't get too long. -
Kerbonisia recently accepted immigrants from Kolechia, however due to security concern Kolechian terrorists begin to settle in. Out military managed to weakened the rebels at a cost of 2k troops. No assistance necessary, though, as we still can handle it.

[0.25] Lionhead Aerospace Inc. - Icarus v0.4 updated
Designer225 replied to Yogui87's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Does downloading CleverBobCat mod for 0.20 works? Downloading MechJeb 1.9.8? (Hey, this is one of the only things I know to have MuMechLib...) Downloading the SUMBEAM LASER from Kerbal Space Port? If not, please list the links. If so, it would be great to confirm it. -

Well, hooray, I've created a drone that could, with Module Fuel System, could perform stunt such as the pitch-180. I have not yet tested it on a game without Module Fuel System. So yeah, here is some story background: After the September, 2001 K.D. on Kerbin City, the Kerbal government took action. The KSA (Kerbal Security Agency) stores thousands of datas. Recently, however, it was leaked. The government decided that they should discover the leaker. The Leaker was said to be seen on Kerbal Space Center. The government decided to use a drone to attack the KSC, to scare the Leaker from the KSC. They thought this for some good reasons: 1 is that they do not have to waste a pilot on a suicidal mission; 2 is that small planes are more likely to be ignored. So there they are, cranking the plane up. The first attempt, however, due to what KSA called "technical difficulties" the drone crashed; the second attempt ended with several crashing, creating an artificial earthquake; last attempt, the drone is almost at the mission control when stunts begin to settle. The drone crashed due to stall and what KSA called "performing stunts". Here is the finished product of the drone I've used to (or attempted to anyway) bomb KSC: (I have no idea why it can't contain its will to do stunts when I have Modular Fuel System installed... ) Download link: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4tG_PxGhuGIMnFlOTlSTTlvcms/edit?usp=sharing Tested to be able to perform stunts in KSP 0.21.1 with Modular Fuel System. NOT tested to be able to perform stunts in KSP 0.21.1 with stock resource config. No guarantees, though. And yes, the plane is stock. Entirely. Dependencies: None, otherwise why should I call it a stock craft? More Out of It: Though it is not a dependency, Modular Fuel System helps me get most of the stunts out. Happy stunting!
