  1. Granted, but they are all spinoffs of eachother and the cast is of fans of the previous shows, and they are bad at acting. Additionally, the shows are 15 minutes long total with 45 minutes of commercials. I wish for nothing.
  2. Granted, but you have no means of powering it. I wish I was in a state of stasis.
  3. How about a giant pole landing leg that just pushes away topsoil on planets with nonsolid surfaces (like the moon)
  4. Did you watch some tutorials? KSP is a bit hard at first, but becoming a pro is as easy as... -Remembering it took humans more than a decade to get to the moon -Killing innocent kerbals to bring you sadness then avenge them with legitimate missions -Watching Scott Manley's tutorials. He's the best Youtuber role model you can have for playing KSP.
  5. could we get the old LV-909 model added? I miss that cute engine.
  6. Their image disappears from the portrait area on all releases. Try having a probe body or manned capsule on the storage container. Also note that the storage container does NOT behave like a command pod at all.
  7. You can do it; he never said you couldn't use a bunch of mainsails with infinite fuel on. That could get you out of Jool's atmosphere. I think something similar to an ocean laythe base (floating design) might work best as it won't break apart instantly. I suggest using RCS for pylons to hold the base up and an RCS-powered rover. Since there's no rules regarding cheats, you could (and might!) need a mainsail-powered rover
  8. Just add more ion drives, big solar arrays, and xenon. I can get .1 m/s accelertation out of my 6 ton 3 ion engine interplanetary base transporter. 6 tons for the whole thing. I even have > 2.5k dV
  9. A better view of the crew compartment and how it splits up:
  10. Here is my luxury vehicle to laythe on a test flight. Note that I only added a Kethane Scanner because all of the engines are independant and can fly individually. The "comms relay" is destined for equatorial orbit above the base while the kethane one is destined for a Polar Orbit. I might make another 6 ton vehicle with Kethane supplies, and send a 6-ton 1-man rocket after it.
  11. Just an update/bump: I'll be taking a bit less than 6 tons with me to laythe. I can still do it in one launch easily, as the amount of RCS in the Launch Vehicle I'm using is exactly 3 tons.
  12. Granted, but Chobit makes an alt and keeps doing this. I wish for nothing more than I already have, except for food. oxygen, etc.
  13. Give him a break. He's a Curious George.
  14. That would be at LEAST .1 tons! No way am I doing that....
  15. I ran some numbers, and can do it with just 3.510 metric tons. I should have pics Saturday (burn times will be long). I also have 2,492 m/s delta-v IF my xenon tanks stayed full. Thus, I have some reserves. I noticed I should be able to carry a whopping 6 tons to LKO because the RCS fuel in the first launcher weighs 3 tons! I might add back all of my "coolness enhancers" and maybe even a second (!) rover/lander.
  16. I'm using a relatively new PC (Feb. 2013) and some mods and I get loading times ~2 mins.
  17. Right click port and left click "Disable crossfeed". Hax sol-ved.
  18. I'd just be driving over something of a fire truck and loading them onto their designated "seats"
  19. A quick question regarding the rules: can we just ignore the "3 ton limit" and carry as much as the Launch Vehicle can? Additionally, can we put the launch vehicle on a suborbital trajectory, finish the orbital insertion with our space vehicle, then land the launch vehicle? I won't be able to play until tomorrow but should be able to meet all the requirements in just one launch. Another quick question: can we use a rover from the SPH to get kerbals to our space vehicle? There's no way I can get 4 kerbals up in 1 launch if I can only use the one that spawns with the vehicle. Thank you for your help, I look forward to many, many hours of running ion engines to get to laythe. I have plans to use no mods so I can meet that extra achievement, otherwise I would have most definitely set up Mechjeb to do my bidding.
  20. Did you try using the higher thrust engines and sitting around at ~20km building up cheap speed?
  21. Mechjeb 2 has spaceplane guidance. I recommend putting your periapse at 10k and have it be right over KSC. You'll be deorbited not far away, and can use your jet engines to get to KSC. Might as well be a normal aircraft flight.
  22. I really like the music.
  23. we all know Jeb will die first.
