"You must spread rep around before giving it to Kuzzter again"/10. Seriously. Not only is your work amazing, but many of the normal comments you leave around are funny or clever.

War Thunder - Screenshots and Discussion thread!
Noname117 replied to Columbia's topic in The Lounge
I'm thinking about starting a squadron for the KSP fans (and their friends) who play War Thunder. I need the golden eagles to do it. I have a golden wager, but I have to win all 20 battles (scoring a kill in each one) to get the required GEs. If anyone here is highly skilled in arcade air battles, I badly need your help. Tier 3 planes are required, and at least 1 person must go bombing. -
6/10 only seen you recently.

Banned for assuming that Eve and Tylo are evil villains rather than just misunderstood.

Engine Failure on Takeoff (V1 Cut) (1.0.4)
Noname117 replied to RexKramer's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
I just realized that my entry doesn't qualify since it never exceeded 1000 meters. Hopefully the length of the run would be akin to going above 1000m in the rules. -
0 I'm happy again!

Saturn Shuttle Mission Archive [SSM-17]
Noname117 replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Do you guys mind if I rip-off the idea for this thread create a thread with a similar premise and purpose, except using the shuttle I currently have in development? -
I tend to fly a lot of things in Kerbin's atmosphere which are designed to not be tricky to fly. I haven't gone to space in a long time, and it really showed there. Tried to turn too much at the beginning, had to emergency decouple the space-plane. Decided to burn all the fuel as quickly as I could. Pseudo-crash landed; as in there were explosions but the craft was mostly intact. I might try again. Also, can I shamelessly suggest my boat and my car-thing which looks like a boat for the next spacecraft friday.

Jeb wanted a nice RC model ship, so Kattel toy company decided to make a mini-RC pre-dreadnaught battleship. The HMS Indivisible is the resulting product, and is very likely the cutest pre-dreadnaught around! The solar-powered vehicle drives around on land; it is NOT intended for the water like normal pre-dreadnaughts are. It may also have some issues turning while going down slopes or with its maximum speed exceeded. Made of 197 parts, some of which are small. Not for Kerbals under 3 years of age. Comes in its own package! (Remove said package before use) Download it here! Caution: Never press 1 while operating the craft. Especially while driving it. DO NOT EVER press 1 while driving the vehicle!

For having more posts and rep than me whilst leaving me clueless as to where you got it all from. -
Majorjim's stock craft repository
Noname117 replied to Majorjim!'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Just because of that I rated the thread 5 stars for you. I would give you rep, as the replicas look really nice, but I think I'll wait for the 1.0+ rebuild of the X-37. I'm presuming it will look extremely nice, given the quality level of your creations. -
totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
Noname117 replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Got a new orbiter prototype being worked on. I hope to have it refined to the point of doing orbital missions by the end of this week. Also thinking about doing something similar to ZooNamedGames' request for shuttle missions with this orbiter and another couple models. -
Well, if that doesn't convince Gene nothing will. Good job!

1.0.2/1.0.4 have been bad in terms of performance for me. 300 part ships are a struggle for me now, while in earlier versions I could go up to 600 to 800 before struggling. Reducing part count and improving aerodynamics have played a large part in my post-1.0 gameplay.

I have no idea what her air draft is, we'll have our top measuring tape guy on it immediately! The keel isn't deep at all; you should only really worry about beaching her if you can pick up some piece of litter which wound up inevitably on the deck and toss it onto the beach. She's a twin jet, which likely means a twin screw. No kick. Range is unknown. Sail anywhere at your own risk The search and rescue plan is to jump into the water and pray that a passing ship or aircraft notices you. Unless of course the water is shark infested. Then just try shouting to the passing ships and aircraft. We don't have any of the other stuff prepared, so we've hired our top forger to do the job! He's also the measuring tape guy! Also, thanks to everyone who checked this creation out, especially to those who commented!

The MV Seayuz is a stock boat for fishing, for pleasure boating and for recovering kerbals in the ocean. It comes with: Transport wheels to get it to the water. Many cool decorations. A recovery ladder on the port side next to the airbrake. A hitchhiker storage container plus 5 external seats. A top speed of 10.2 m/s (Fully fueled). A corny name! Also, just to be warned, she is 322 parts. Instructions: First apply brakes and move a kerbal from the hitchhiker to one of the command seats. This isn't strictly necessary, but some parts of the ship stop functioning unless a kerbal is in the command seat. I have no clue why. On flat ground you can get her up to top speed from the wheels safely, and if you turn the engines on you can go even faster. I haven't broken her by going too fast on flat ground yet! Be extremely careful when handling bumps or uneven terrain. When you move the craft off the runway be very careful in doing so, as the wheels have a habit of breaking. If a wheel breaks, don't panic. Stop the craft and get a kerbal out to repair the wheel(s). Don't attempt to continue driving with the broken wheel. This could lead to disastrous consequences. You can get the Kerbal back in via the ladder, though if you need to get the kerbal higher to activate the ladder (Or if the ladder clips through one of the wheel pontoons, making it unclimbable) you can climb on top of the pontoons using the wheels. Braking is intentionally dulled on this craft, so be careful when you are approaching the ocean. I had to just leave the brakes on once I got to the beach rather than turn them on and off. You may want to increase the braking power slightly if you're having trouble getting it into the water. Once in the water, stage the wheel pontoons, turn on the jets and sail off to whatever adventures you want to have! I haven't tested turning to the extent that I should've, but I can say that doing basic turns at medium speeds should be safe. Walk kerbals on the deck of the ship while it is moving at your own risk. I recommend having all of them seated whenever you move. Click on this line of text to download the beautiful craft! Also, to anyone who did notice, yes, the smokestack is a bit off-center. This is fixed in the download.

Noname117 replied to Mister Dilsby's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
It has gotten to the point where I just start spamming the rep button on every post you write now. I want that stupid "Spread the rep around" message to go away so badly! -
0! I'm perfectly happy and content now!

2 (-) why was it even let up to 4?
