Minmus, you can see it as a little speck during the day and when you get there it is like being greeted with a big, big, BIGGGGG bowl of ice cream!

Just wait one orbit and retrieve it again

Okey, so in this thread it is mentioned that the Quatar Soccer games cost more then the Apollo program in its entirety. So that got me (Well actually, a buddy of mine) thinking. How much would it cost to organize the World soccer cup on the moon? Using Apollo technology. We need to get 32 teams(11 players + 1 coach each) to the moon. I figured that since Apollo 17 stayed for 4 days on the moon we had enough time to play the championship. Day 1 : Poule rounds Day 2 : 8th finale + Quarters Day 3 : Semi Day 4 : Finale Soo where would we start calculating the costs?

What are your favourite parts in the game? And why do you like them more than the other parts. Both stock and mod. Reasoning doesn't have to be from a technical or usable stance. Just why do you like that part more than any other in the KSP logo box? For me it's the Rockomax jumbo-64 tank. It looks great with that Space-shuttle-external-tank-orange and the pipe leading up to the top. It has this really cool feel on it. Oh and it carries lots of fuel My favourite mod part is the protractor. Its just a TI calculator I own with a piece of duct tape. It made me laugh out loud the first time I saw it

That makes me really sad...

I would love to see my food being delivered via a robot. I love robots . I can already imagine the future. I go to a website, order a pizza. Pay for it using a internet payment system. And the local pizza shop sends out a drone to deliver it . Pizza & robots. WOW!

I doubt maths can help here. Simple home users friendly fireworks are way to chaotic to do precise measurements on. The weight of the stick differs per rocket. The amount and strength of the black powder differs from rocket to rocket. Some rockets have a bit more of the black powder pellets that provide the sparks at the end. Some have more black powder and fly higher. The manufacturing of fireworks isn't as precise as building a real rocket. Each piece of firework has it's own different variables and the onbly way to find out is to destroy the rocket. (And thus bringing the amount of ∆v of the rocket to 0)

If we get it into Lower Earth orbit it'll decay in due time. Some media spectacle when the bus is being launched an about a year or two later a small side note in the paper that the bus burned up in the atmosphere.
-
Why launch a bus into space? Because we CAN launch a bus into space! The most awesome things and moments in life are basically the things that happened because they could happen! LAUNCH THE BUS! LAUNCH THE BUS! LAUNCH THE BUS!

Tips and tricks you found out yourself
hugix replied to hugix's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I've made a screen to illustrate my trick I explained on the first page. when Going to Minmus, launch when KSC is (more or less) directly under the path of Minmus like so : Then adjust your heading according to the Orbit of Minmus. When You are on the ascending(Minmus is going north) side of the orbit make your heading 84 degrees. When Minmus is going south (descending) set your heading to 96 degrees. This way you don't have to do a plane change, or at least a very small one. -
