You can use Jet Engines in Duna...
-
Please read the rules before you post a challenge. Also, Atanar, Laythe, Jool, Duna, Eve and Kerbin are the only planets with an atmosphere, oxygen is irrelevant

Sounds great man! Actzoltan has been helping me figure out some kinks when trying to trade the Alarm Clock between people. We have figured out how to share our own personal alarms since the mod developer has changed how the file saves it. I have updated my post saying how, and Hawk, can you please make a note of that in the main thread! I'd appreciate that.

Challenge Completed Total challenges completed: 36 Total kerbals lost: 1 Total lost vehicles: 5 Total planetetary landings: 1 So, simple challenge, setup an encounter with the Mun. Complete. I have a treat for some of you. If you follow real world events you should know about Curiosity, a rover that has been on Mars for a few years now. Well, I have a recreation of that for you, I know right, I'm amazing. However, Duna is still pretty far away, Phase angle wise, so, I have something else for you. Not many of us can tell when the Phase Angles are and when we should start aerobrakes etc etc so I have added a little something to the save file... It's called Kerbal Alarm Clock. It is genious! Its a simple plugin that will not effect anyone else if they do not have it. It simply is there so we know when we reach SOI's of planets, when we need to aerobrake etc etc. I have also added the config file for it specifically setup for our challenges. I have setup the Jool SOI changeover for Soyuz-117, as well as the Dres encounter for Manticore. No need to countdown using our fingers anymore! We have the TECHNOLOGY! Install the mod like normal, I have set it up for everything to work immediately upon startup. If you wish to not use this mod, simply ignore it, but it is there for people who want to try it and make their lives easier so we do not miss certain events in our shared challenges. Check out my brief gallery here! "The Moon is the first milestone on the road to the stars." - Arthur C. Clarke Next Challenge Kerbosity, our Curosity analogue, is on the runway. Put it into space just like everything else. Preferably a LKO (Low Kerbin Orbit) of about 75-85km. Simple challenge right? Right. If you added the Kerbal Alarm Clock to your arsenal of mods, I want you to check it out and learn it. I have already setup everything we need for our challenges, but go ahead and play with it, just, make sure you don't effect the other alarms, they are needed! Simple and short challenge from me today, so, with all that extra time you have, think of something unique and interesting we could do, and good luck! Pro tip: Before you start your launch, right click on the probe at the top of the craft and click "control from here". Download the save file Final Note: If you add any more alarms, please copy your file called "Alarms-Hampatsfct (Sandbox).txt" in your Kebal Alarm Clock PluginData folder into the Kerbal Alarm Clock zipped file in the save download so the next person can have your alarms as well.

I am not getting mad, sorry for being a little passionate about something like come on.. this is ridiculous dont you think? So what, are you saying you are one of them? Capn't Skunky and I are in contact and we will be finding out who they are and they will be dealt with accordingly. Good luck.

You need to understand something. It was not HarvesteR and I proved him wrong VERY easily. I mentioned a 24 live stream that xxleGoldFishxx did and I was live with him, Chad Jenkins, HarvesteR and I said what did my sponsors promise at the end of the live stream. If he would of know, he would have answered. But he rambled and tried changing the topic and then giving stupid responses. HarvesteR is a smart man, and he knows who I am, this fool did not. We arent stupid people, we know how to find things out, that is one of the good things about being on the interest and having a wide variety of knowledge in finding things out. Don't play us, we just want to play some Kerbal Space Program and TALK TO SOME PEOPLE. Not deal with this CHILDISH BULL like EVERYWHERE ELSE!
-
Yay for concern?
-
Thank you sir, I am glad you agree! Come on KSP Community, we know you are better than this. Don't start changing!
-
Hello, I thought I would make this clear. We have had multiple imposters on the Kerbal Live Feed servers and we would like it to stop. We are looking for friendly, true and kind people who are just trying to enjoy the game. Not low life scum who impersonate other individuals like HarvesteR and other community managers and developers. We can prove you wrong, it is not hard, so just give up, use your proper username, and can we just play some damn KSP?

Handy/interesting graphs/charts.

This is lovely, I downloaded them and printed them for my lovely wall of information! -
Zekes, I have never done a challenge such as "grand" as this and I have a simple question. Do we use a mother ship that will get to every planet to drop a probe that will land or can we send multiple mother ships out. So, for example, a mother ship to Jool with enough probes to land on every moon but only have 1 orbital ship or do we have to send one for EVERY moon or planet?
-
I don't think that if we create a big ship it wouldn't create a big enough gravity well to effect the asteroid. But, if you use structural plates, I found you can push it! but you have to touch it first EVERRRR so slightly and combat the gravity with RCS until you touch the asteroid. Then, push away just don't fly off the sides or BOOM!
-
Someone had told me about this yesterday and I did not believe him, but I tried this as well. I BELIEVE this was intentional. It's really cool!
-
Yeah, the modelling for that one in game doesn't work, but he did put an update, Draktec I mean, which sort of helped the mesh and not so.. crazy explody buggy XD Its fun watching things ram into it because of SCIENCE.. err gravity!
-
Okay, so everything, and even the gravity, works with this mod EXCEPT the Larger bumpy asteroid, its model seems to be missing.
-
This is really cool! I will test just for you BlueSubstance because if it does, I want to use them. Check back in maximum 10 minutes.
