  1. If you go around a large station with hundreds or thousands of parts, you MAY notice a increase in FPS. This mod works uses a few compression methods to help decrease overall memory usage for KSP so yes, it will have an effect on both stock and modded parts. Depending on your computer and what you have installed and if you have the configuration set up properly, there is a good chance you will see a difference.

Well that won't be very hard I am running KSP at around 1.2GB of RAM usage at the moment so it MAY be that, but I doubt it because 3 super samples was an immediate screenshot, and a small bump in my memory usage.   4. I see that, its really good. The formatting could be improved slightly but is not entirely necessary since only advanced users will really be tinkering with any of that.
  5. Great I understand how much this helps people so for the amount of memory you free up with this mod, having the option for you to have the game just a bit more gorgeous is a great feeling.
  6. Alright, so I was testing again and I could get up to 3 super samples, at 4 and above, KSP crashes because my Windows 7 says so, not because KSP did so. I cannot get a crash log.
  7. Could you put a comment section in the main configuration so that people know of the extra options at their disposle? Obviously write the fact that it will increase memory usage and effect performance. I have been wondering this since version 2 but only chose to ask now since I was doing more research on antistropic, trilinear and bilinear. Edit: Obviously if you did this make it a hotfix or in the next release have it in there, don't do a full update for just commenting XD
  8. In the config it uses bilinear, can we change it to trilinear? Is it set up for that if we changed it to that?
  9. This is also something I noticed. Also, the saved screenshots counter should reset per game restart because sometimes we delete screenshots and there is no point counting deleted shots in my opinion.
  10. Thank you, much appreciated. As for the super sampling, I had attempted 10 at first, immediate crash. Then I tried 1 and 2. They worked fine but I didnt notice much difference in quality. I ramped it up to 5 and after a few moments it said KSP had stopped working. I waited a bit to check if it crashed or if it was chugging along with the shot. I eventually gave up on the setting of 5 super samples and deemed it a nogo crash. I do not have a log for it at the moment, but if I get one, what part of the crash log would you like?
  11. If a model, part, or texture is missing and you load a vessel they usually disappear yes.
  12. Everyone should have backups for this reason alone. Updates can cause issues, smart move on your part.
  13. Think of it like a high definition screen shot plugin. KSP compresses screenshots and doesn't produce the best quality even though it may seem like it. BOSS uses a few techniques to ramp up the quality to make professional quality screenshots. Supersampling and a few other processes coincide to produce top notch shots.
  14. Yes I saw that, but I didn't understand why he posted a link to the habitat pack. I guess he means he added that to the config which would have been a more suitable answer instead of sending a link.
  15. How do you take a screenshot without the game hud showing using B.O.S.S? Edit: Nevermind, I checked the PluginData and saw the config with the screenshot key. Could you post the instructions in the OP for other members? Edit #2: The game crashed immediately after pressing Z.
  16. I am loosing on upwards of 300-500MB which is quite nice. I wish I could lose more but oh well! Freaking amazing as is.
  17. I have no clue how. Delete the entire boulder folder and install the new one as well as the cloud plugin if you have it and restart ksp. Nothing has changed besides where the configs go and a tga file issue.
  18. A few mods that are pretty big would be KAS, Kosmos, Soviet, BTSM (Not a big deal for the list but definitely something to consider in the future), Interstellar, Alternis, Firespitter, Infernal Robotics (or Magic Industries), and Kethane for sure,
