Just a headsup to everyone looking for mod config updates, Rbray has stopped putting a lot of time into this because his Visual Enhancement mod needed a lot of love. There is a lot of valuable information in the texturecompressor.tcfg file about how to setup your own config files and to update old ones. It literally takes a minute to copy and paste part locations and such. A little time consuming but remember, Rbray would of had to update them himself individually as well so why not show him a little love by updating it for him Then the next patch can come quicker because it is already done. Tada.

Thank you, I didn't even think about compiling the source. I have never done that with anything KSP related. I did read the OP obviously but I could only extrapolate so much from it. I was unsure if a "playable" version would be in the future; Future meaning months from now because of the understandable scope of the project.

HotRockets! Particle FX Replacement + Tutorial
bulletrhli replied to Nazari1382's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Yes, it was requested early by myself and other members to use module manager and very quickly it was ported and it works with it. Enjoy Also, a note to the OP, I have noticed one issue, not with the mod, but a compatibility issue I would like you to be aware of. Atmospheric Sound Enhancement mod has troubles muffling the sound when this mod is added. Now, obviously I know why, thats because both mods effect the engines so they immediately would conflict but if there was a way to get these to work together it would be freaking amazing! -
One day this thread will have a title to call it's own. It gets changed more often than a dirty diaper. Still, pretty badass setup you got here man Thanks!

As Rbray has stated just above, you will barely notice a difference in the visual quality of everything. If you use the aggressive pack, you'll notice it mainly on the grey fuel tanks because they look a little smoother and the edges slightly jagged but only if you really look. Switch to full res while using the aggressive version to make it even less noticeable. The basic version makes things prettier using mipmaps and such without effecting frame rate but at the cost of a bit more memory, but of course still a lot less than what you would have used without the ATM mod

Yes, but there isn't anything specific in the config file for it last time I checked. Correction: There is no config, but it IS still supported of course. You can play around and make your own config file for the KOSMOS pack. Check out the "textureCompressor.tcfg" file and it has lots of useful information about creating your own configs. Incase you don't know, that file I mentioned is located here: "GameData\BoulderCo\textureCompressorConfigs"

[1.1.x] CoolRockets! Cryo and Launch Particle FX
bulletrhli replied to sarbian's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
You should only have one in your GameData folder. It causes conflictions. Says right on the OP. -
No, of course not The majority just downloads, drags and drops. Reading is not a prerequisite lol which is exactly why when problems happen people go haywire because they don't read. In most cases, you should not be crashing and the mod does not conflict with another mod. When you launch your KSP game, what happened before you had ATM? Did it still crash? Now with ATM, does it crash? What edition (basic or aggressive) are you using? What mods are you using?
