  1. It isn't that its bothering me, I do not know how to compile a source code like many other users so its more of a convenience thing for more people to try it. I do appreciate you doing that though and it is very much appreciated. When I see it is up, I will do a test of my own and return my results when I figure out everything Thanks!
  2. Can someone tell me how to download this without downloading the source?
  3. Question. Do both planet packs work together? I just saw this out of the blue and I am beyond intrigued. I must check these out in person.
  4. Is there any integration with FAR in VOID? I have used it for a while but I switch back and forth with stock and FAR so it would be nice to know.
  5. I know you are working on FAR integration for KER but has anyone made a fork off of this mod with FAR integration?
  6. Well I am using an AMD Athlon II 640 Quad Core which is a 64 bit CPU just food for though. I havent yet reached the 3.4Gb limit but I will have to try to push that.
  7. Now for a long time I have never had over 4GB of memory, but I recently upgraded to a 64 bit Windows 7 and added 8Gb of RAM because I am building a gaming computer. Everyone has said that KSP was limited to 3GB of memory (theoretically the limit for a 32 bit system after deducting system used memory) but I have maxed that according to my task manager and nothing has happened. Anyone know the reason for this?
  8. What kind of parts do the reflective shaders get applied too? I am unfamiliar with the mod and only have installed it and didn't see immediate results and some more info would be great
  9. So I noticed only above the KSC is the volumetric clouds. Is this intentional?
  10. I did not know that Thank you for clearing that up and I definitely feel like some tinkering is in my future
  11. I think it is a little over powered right now. I hit a crater wall at 60m/s with a tricycle style wheel setup on a mid class rocket plane and it just took it like a champ, bounced up a few hundred meters and cleared the wall. I have a picture before the impact to give you an idea how the crater is. It hit near the base.
  12. Hey Ferram, are we going to see an update or a experimental release anytime soon?
  13. Rbray, can I suggest you put the latest iteration in the main post? Its exhausting going through pages looking for it. It would be greatly appreciated. I have yet to try the volumetric clouds yet as I did not have the memory. However, I recently "got" a upgrade from 32 bit Win 7 Ultimate to 64 bit Then, I purchased 8 more gigs of G.Skill Ripjaws X ram because its beautiful, cheap per gigabyte and well.. MEMORY!
  14. Please tell me how you got that and what skybox you have... I am in heaven looking at this. So beautiful.
  15. Thanks for telling me it was updated man, I appreciated it so much Meatsauce
  16. Someone posted their usage of the volumetric clouds.. BEAUTIFUL! and great sound track.
  17. Just going to leave this here. KSP Volumetric Cloud test - Visual enhancements mod Edit: Just noticed someone beat me to it, darn, still, watch it anyways because ITS AWESOME!
  18. Yes, I have it, and even without it I do not have a memory error. Without the DOE mod KSP ran just fine with ISM but as soon as DOE is introduced it crashes. If it was a memory issue it would have given me a hint of that in the error log but no such error was there.
  19. Ive noticed a slight compatibility issue. I used 1.2 without the Interstellar mod (0.13) and it worked just fine, but together they cause the client to crash just as the game finished loading. The error log produces no useful information so I have decided not to post it.
  20. Yes, but remember, KSP is scaled, and its a simulation. So, in a way, it could be theoretically possible. I dont think youd see a green planet in the sky thats hundreds of millions of kilometers away.. the light wouldnt be strong enough to hold that much colour (i say hold and strong enough very loosely). So, to us it appears like a star, but very very dull.
