  1. Jool you only will go to get orbit. No land on giant gas. But if you do Eve, almost every other will be easier. Exception Tylo...
  2. They are made to Orbit maneuvers. Not to fly around in atmosphere. Still unstable for that. A 30 minutes ago i was trying to convert one of then to runway, but for now, ti won't work there. Will need and reconstruction... The wheels gears are to heavy and have other problems on horizontal take off... If you wanna try one or two, pic the new better series Turbo. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26502-0-19-1-STAR-series-Turbo-Upgrade-more-effective-and-efficient%21-double-intakes or even the 3 Kerbin version (the newest) http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26542-0-19-1-STAR-Supreme-The-big-Mama-of-STAR-series-SSTO-VTOL-Orbiter
  3. I have the STAR series, i love it. The most functional, efficient and effective i have. Here the links for then... I put here in birth order, but the TURBO series and the Supreme are the best at the moment. I'm doing a mission to Laythe with Supreme, recording it at the moment. Already did one with STAR ICE (normal size). They use Mechjeb, some have a stock version, but use it at your own risk. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/25679-0-19-1-STAR-STAR-Junior-STAR-Baby-Rocket-SSTO http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26060-0-19-1-STAR-ICE-Junior-With-and-without-Payload http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26502-0-19-1-STAR-series-Turbo-Upgrade-more-effective-and-efficient%21-double-intakes http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26542-0-19-1-STAR-Supreme-The-big-Mama-of-STAR-series-SSTO-VTOL-Orbiter But be aware that they are created to orbit maneuvers, some can do interplanetary, docking all then can, and transfer to any part of Kerbin, bud don't try to use it ass and plane. It's to unstable for that.
  4. Sorry, i assume that because the SSTO is common to be jet. But i have my own SSTO Rocket only too!
  5. Thank's "007-1" I'm now enjoying my new STAR series. You have seeing it? Is more effective then this Flexa to orbit. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26502-0-19-1-STAR-series-Turbo-Upgrade-more-effective-and-efficient%21-double-intakes http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26542-0-19-1-STAR-Supreme-The-big-Mama-of-STAR-series-SSTO-VTOL-Orbiter
  6. Well, i lost everything i post here, put i still have the pics, i post on flicker, and the ships that is on my computer. So, i'm gradually putting again the best ones on forum.
  7. Nice, and powerful SSTO Rocket only. You try this same configuration, but with LV-T30? I now it will not be much to get an orbit, but i thing will go a little farder...
  8. Está lá? Estou cá! Seja bem vindo e junte-se a nós falantes da língua portuguesa. Fixi!
  9. Stelith61, Jets won't work on Eve. There have atmosphere, but no oxygen on it. I think the best is to not drop anything, but i can open a little to you drop only the chutes that help you to touch the ground. Bup if amy one can do this without this, will be in your front.
  10. They say Eve ocean is made of liquid fuel. But i don't think so, if it was liquid fuel, Eve would have burn a long time ago, near like this to the sun...
  11. STAR Supreme. (STAR series resized for 3 Kerbins) No other words. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rteahtz00s4s5rg/Star%20Supreme.craft (Stock) - Use at your own risk. https://www.dropbox.com/s/avqng8qdzbtdz7n/Star%20Supreme%20Mj.craft (Mechjeb) Update, now with video: 3rd generation from the originals STAR (Turbo) - http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/26502-0-19-1-STAR-series-Turbo-Upgrade-more-effective-and-efficient%21-double-intakes
  12. VTOL, STOL, SSTOL, NOTOL, ahuahuahuahuahua It fly vertically, and can make some minor adjustments on horizontal, if you be careful. To land on Pad, for exemple. (video) At the moment i'm finishing the crash test for the new one to join this family. STAR Family. The new one will be 3 Kerbin, and is almost ready. Man, i'm loving doing this series. It's amazingly efficient and powerful. You can see here the first generation of STAR's. The ICE is second generation, and TURBO is 3rd Gen.
  13. In theory, i think could be possible. But is not applicable for the challenge. But i be happy to see a video of one doing it. Could receive and extra out of board price.
  14. For the few ones that tried my STAR SSTO's, i present now the Turbo series. This is Mechjeb version for now, but if you want a stock version, just ask. The Turbo series have the double intakes from model before. 6 for each turbo jet. So it almost put the Craft on orbit, using the nuke only for the minimal final circularization. Have the same 3 versions, Normal (with 2250m/s dV when on 100km orbit), the Junior (around 1250 m/s on orbit), and the Baby (near 650 m/s after orbit) More effective, more powerful. The Normal can make far travels in space. I already put one on Laythe. The STAR Turbo Mj reach Laythe with orbit refuel on Kerbin and then on Laythe again. Could land easily near my Laythe base, then come back on orbit, and still have enough fuel to do it again, without the need for refuel. Perfect for transport between ground base and orbit bases. Is my most loved one at the moment. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ry9v04fv2k5yl0/Star%20Turbo%20Mj.craft https://www.dropbox.com/s/afb2p9khud6nhx8/Star%20Junior%20Turbo%20Mj.craft https://www.dropbox.com/s/dllsiz7snkdn1nq/Star%20Baby%20Turbo%20Mj.craft
  15. Man, fix your proposal first thread, is a mess of contradictions. And the tittle too. Please.
  16. Here is the Challenge, i don't think it is possible, until some one do it. Is it Possible to have an SSTO landed and come back to a 100km orbit from EVE? On stock+mechjeb only. No KSPX, no other mod. To get there you can use infinite fuel+rcs, but from the 100km orbit, to land and then lift of to again a 100km orbit, no refuel, no infinite fuel, and no stages. Just the SSTO Rocket. I think it will need 9000 to 13000 m/s of dV. Can it be done? Better if have a kerbin, and better yet if he is in a capsule.
  17. Thanks Tavert. But i mean, without the cockpit, i don't like, but he did it! some day i put a try on mine own... With cockpit.
  18. Lost in translation? (joke for the forum problem) I prefer to have a reference from a guy here that now the direct location on the forum in the present state. I believe that Sunjumper must know some.
