  1. Here the pics for STAR Junior. 2 orbits and hot landings (on jets) without refuel. For one Orbit at 100 km, you get 1200 m/s dV for maneuvers and reenter.
  2. Thank you Custard. I hope you could enjoy the START as much as i am now. For a such small vehicle, get into orbit with 2000 m/s of dV in tank is a wonderful thing. So, know i'm optimizing it for better work, and i put new craft's on the principal thread. Is one with a cargo on top, to show you it can even bring small parts into orbit. At this exactly moment i'm putting a new nod with mechjeb in an old SS on Mun Orbit (SS = Space Station) So, sun i put here in this thread a young brother of this Rocket, that will be smaller then this one, but with less fuel to expend. Just for fun! Good flights.
  3. All is done in Maneuver Planer, but you can start the transfer with Rendezvouz, and then fine tune with Maneuver Planer, and other steps of maneuver follow, like periapsis, circularize, etc...

  5. But even with time warp the ion is too dam slow! I pic a time when i even did some ion ships, but i forget now, because is not practical for maned vehicles. only probes.
  6. STAR - Do you wanna a Little Rocket to get one Kerbin into Orbit? Or Mun? Maybe Duna? Or Even Laythe? So, here it is. The STAR. STAR is a Hybrid Rocket, that launches and land vertically, but use Jets most of the part. Because use Jets, it is super efficient. So efficient that you can take off, get an orbit and land twice without refuel (maybe 3x if you put low orbit and use the chutes and repack) You believe it? But you don't need the chutes, you can land it on Jets. The Chutes are an extra. To get the most of it's efficiency, better to use with Mechjeb, but the clean craft is stock. Here is the models, stock, and Mechjeb. And now the Star Junior (Mj version too). The Junior still can enter Low orbit and come back to KSC twice without refuel. Even landing with jets on both. If you wanna use the Mj version, please take a look on the video that show you the basic config for the ascendent curve, and remember to put 10% on flame out jet prevention. I recommend Mechjeb version, preferably because the flame out thing...   10. Following the repost politics after data loss, here i represent the Flexa SSTO. A Jedi Startfighter inspired Space Jet. This one: It have the cockpit behind, and have a (not yet reposted) a ring for space jump. The set pictures are from the old model. So some changes for better was made. The hotkey too, may differ from the ones showed on the pics. The video with flight are new and show how to get an orbit.   11. Here i present the Pavão SSTO Space Jet. It use KSPX parts and know i have a version with MechJeb. The pics here are from the old model, with ion engines and solar panels. But because that type of engine are to weak i prefer to post a more efficient version, with just jet's and nuke's. So, it have 3 jets, will climb fast, but if you don't have experience on SSTO when flame out, i recommend using the help off Mechjeb throttle control. But i made it in the time i never use Mechjeb.   13. So Mr. Duck, here go the record of the Return from Mun error. I recommend you to see the role video (about 40 minutes), to see other minor things, like the keep rounding and rolling and almost never get the target from maneuver node (in some big ships this is more accentuated). But if you want to see the Return from Mun error go directly to 23 minutes and beyond. But to not be only about minor adjustments, i recommend too that you see the perfect landing coordinate by Mechjeb target to KSC.   14. I would love to have that to, but for now, the pick point get closer enough for me. Just pic a point with a good zoom on your vehicles/base.
  15. What i do in those cases is to have another control module or even a docking port in a vertical position. In this way you can put control from here and solve your problem! (i think)

  19. I'm particularly splited too, with the big HD and the animated Gif's. I like both but still can't decide yet.   20. Yeah, you are back, and with the new 2.0.7! Nice! Good! So far the bug with docking for me seams to be fixed and is all working, despite the return from moon, or i use it wrongly. I just pic this option on the maneuver planing when i was in moon orbit to return to Kerbin, but it make my pe go directly to collision in Mun. But the use of RCS is amazingly improved on a small ship with 3 crew plus 4 passenger and a medium tank with a nuke. I put only 4 balls of 40 each of monopropilen... and it use only 10 from the 160 to dock twice. Is marvelous. But i don't test it with wobbling big ships yet! For all other things i tested, it's working marvelous. Great Work!
