i disagree with adding a toggle. you always have the option of not installing the plugin, but knowing you can just turn it off if your kerbals are dying makes it feel a bit cheaty imo. -
it would be nice to have some kind of "fill the rest of the tank with correct ratio of fuel/oxidizer" button. its annoying having to calculate the correct amount of fuel/oxidizer to fill the rest of the tank with after you add monopropellant. might i suggest adding xenon and electricity as well. also, how do you figure out the right volume of a tank? just add fuel and oxidizer together? what about basemass?

could it be possible to add things other than a connector to the removable connector port? im thinking work light and solarpanels and things like that, so you could place them in EVA. edit: how about some kind of connector hub part for when attaching to only one part is not enough to do a stable pull? red: connector hub blue: direction of pull

you mean the ones that are pointed on one side? i just tried using 2 modded rcs thrusters with 10 power each located as close to tip of the shuttle as aesthetically possible and i still cant keep the nose up..- 14,073 replies

you need to reassemble your craft from the ground up. it might be because a part is colliding with another part and being pushed ever so slightly out causing the imbalance- 14,073 replies

how would i go about keeping my nose up during reentry? im using deadly reentry so aerobraking is vital. i know the space shuttles used rcs thrusters for attitude control in the upper atmosphere but in ksp the normal rcs thrusters just dont have the strength to keep nose up unless i use an excessive amount of them for which the monopropellant cost is equally excessive. any tips? http://puu.sh/2JmGe/26000208ff.png http://puu.sh/2JmH6/4266d47226.png- 14,073 replies

these parts look good but i havent used them yet because there arent any long trusses to keep the part-count down

i rebuilt my space shuttle from the ground up and got the same result: as soon as it starts moving, it disintegrates. i noticed some weird CoL shifting while assembling the wings where it would either be completely on one side of the craft despite there being two wings or it would be less extremely off-center but more than the usual CoL hiccup you get when building aircraft

this is due to ksp loading every part in your parts folder into memory even if you arent using them (i believe its for the vab/sph parts browser). the only things you can do to avoid crashes are changing texture size to half and/or removing excess parts from the parts folder or wait for ksp devs to come up with a better method to load parts..

like you said, thats your opinion. i find this very useful as i do not have experience in modeling and i can see why this is very useful for people like me who simply dont want to go through the effort of getting modeling programs, making the model and getting it to work ingame. -
