  1. Is there a way to view the total amount of drag forces (in kN) acting on a craft?
  2. It feels like something is wrong here. I'm using RSS and the SLT is around 1, but already at 5km I've lost most of the thrust and it doesn't break the sound barrier, even with afterburner. The thrust just keeps decreasing. Is this normal?
  3. If you don't want to use RSS then maybe this mod isn't for you?
  4. Some procedural toroidal tanks for neat, compact 3rd/4th stages and landers would be nice.
  5. This mod breaks FAR stability calculations if you have air intakes on your craft. Otherwise good.
  6. Maybe you could expand this module (Better Brakes/Wheels?) to improve the way wheels/brakes work in general? It seems to me that KSP wheels have too much forward/backward traction. Correct me if I'm wrong. Edit: Would it be possible to make this work with B9 landing gears as well? They use a custom module.
  7. What are the zeroes after the first 2 values? Link to said sticky? 0 results on "velocitycurve" and only 1 result on "velocity curve in this thread.
  8. You're landing at a bit more than half the speed of sound at sea level.. Sounds to me like you need more lift. Use flaps for landing & takeoff, and activate spoilers when touching down to decrease the lift. There's also a possibility that you need to relocate your landing gears. There's a landing gear diagnostics vid around somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Edit: Found it. One last advice: struts.
  9. Anyone got real engine MM configs for Laztek's SpaceX pack? Or do I have to rescale them & copy/paste the MM configs for the other SpaceX packs engines?
  10. @ferram4 I honestly don't see the point in not using pWings in general. They're just plain better. Thanks for the pointers & back to the drawing board for me.
  11. Say I wanna use a foreplane canard, how would I go about making it stall earlier than the main wing?
  12. Third. Maybe tweakable parameters? Also would be neat if the fairing bases were resizeable like the interstage fairing adapter. As an added benefit this would let us make procedural nosecones that don't look terrible.

  14. The ramjet works fine. Just delete the plugins folder.
  15. Been having a lot of fun with this, DRE, Procedural Wing & Taverio's ramjet, trying to design a stable ~hypersonic drone. I managed to get all numbers but one into the green for a M4+ prototype with the aerodynamic center (what is even the proper term for the blue ball in KSP?) almost inside the CoM. Do you have any PW supersonic designs you're particularly proud of, ferram?
  16. How about a high density ballast resource for adjusting the DCoM? It would make balancing crafts a lot easier. I know I could probably do this myself but it would be nice to have something "official" so craft files can be shared easily.
  17. How do I increase the brightness of the airplane HUD? It's too dark for my liking.
