  1. I'm going to test it tonight to be sure but the rewrite is necessary. The code is cleaner and easier to maintain.
  2. Next update will fix this issue including some other bugs. I _might_ break saves but I need to test to confirm.
  3. well it's changing the CFGs to the newer PartModule format. I haven't tested it yet but I'm throwing caution.
  4. Please let's know how it works out. If it doesn't send me the craft file so I can test it with my unreleased version.
  5. If it was during the initial 0.23.5 testing releases then that should be fixed. So far I haven't heard of any of anything except for one instance that I'm looking at. The next release is a complete rewrite that utilizes PartModule and so far I'm finding it to be more stable.
  6. I'm willing to offer light help when I'm not working on Infernal Robotics.
  7. Not sure how to test it. Do you have a method to repeat the problem?
  8. It's not a bugger now that I have the PartModule rewrite almost complete. I've taken the awesome work that taniwha has done on porting IR over to the newer PartModule format and fixed a few things here and there where he stopped. Couple of things of note: 1. Toolbar support OPTIONAL... don't like it. delete the toolbar directory 2. Toolbar bug fixed 3. Docking bug almost squashed (only problem right now is putting a docking port on a piston, the translation goes bonkers. Good news is if you keep it at it's original state, save the game, reload. When you undock it shouldn't break the piston's translation). 4. When undocking, Servo control window will resize to fit only the parts on the current vessel.
  9. I'll keep saying the same thing. I need an output_log.txt file in order to know what is going on. As for now there's a bug with the toolbar. it's being fixed in the new update which is being rewritten and it _might_ break existing installs.
  10. I'll keep saying the same thing. I need an output_log.txt file in order to know what is going on.
  11. Something goofed. I am curious what the output_log looks like for that. - - - Updated - - - Did you install the toolbar directory that was included? Do you have an output_log file to share?
  12. Have you tried the old parts with the Infernal Robotics plugin?
  13. Do you mean the original damned robotics parts? It was only a few parts and can probably find them on kerbalspaceport.
  14. Sure it's feasible but you aren't the one that has to code it.
  15. That's been suggested a few times but it's low on my list.
  16. That seems rather specialized. I'll put it down as a request if I remember to submit it to my GitHub.
  17. partModule rewrite is very close to release. I got maybe a day or two before I'm happy with releasing it. I might have the docking issue resolved but I will spend some time testing it.
  18. I'm currently working on the new rewrite of the plugin. Things are going well but I wanted to address the concerns of the 2x symmetry issue. I did notice one user used the Industrial hinges to test and they were in fact inverted. Today I just remembered an important bit of information. The Industrial Hinge didn't have this in it's config file: By default the value is true which is why it would invert the symmetry. Until I release a new set of parts add this to your Industrial Hinge and you will be set!
  19. I retested it and I don't think anything needs to be changed for this mod. I downloaded the mod again and didn't change anything for it to work. Has anyone tried it?
  20. I'll see what I can do. I'm still learning configurablejoints out of necessity this time due to Squad's rewrite.
  21. Like I said long week. Thanks. - - - Updated - - - I'll look into it as a feature request in the future.
  22. Definitely add a 90 degree hinge. I use them all the time for probes and satellites. It was one of the things I wished damned robotics parts had.
  23. Ksp_data folder. This is a basic stock answer for finding what the problem is. Most devs ask for this file.
