Just a thread where I want to post random mods I make: 1. Space Shuttle SRB [V1.0.0] Designed to work with the space shuttle mod, but can work alone. Properties: Thrust: 920 Sea Level ISP: 365 Vacuum ISP: 375 Gimbal Range: 0.75 Version 1.0.0: Spaceport link .zip Dropbox Mirror TODO: I want to break that nosecone off and install some separation rockets. 2. Recommended you use MechJeb ascent autopilot, with the gravity turn starting at 2 km. NOTE: All versions from 2.1 + Are included in the ULA Pack. DO NOT DOWNLOAD if you have that pack. Version 2.1.1: .zip Dropbox Stuff changed: Delta-K now how a reaction wheel thingy. Rocket Assembly Guide: Attach any .625m-1.25m decoupler to the bottom of your spacecraft. OPTIONAL Attach a Star 48B* upper stage. Attach the second stage*. Attach the first stage. Add as many SRB's as you want. TODO: Add craft files. Find a way to add 9 SRB's without complication. Add spin rockets on the second stage. *They both have build-in decouplers, so dont place decouplers on the bottom of the second and third stages. Naming system: The first digit relates to the length of the core (first stage). In this case, it will always 7. The second digit relates the the number of SRB's, usually 3, 4, 6, and 8, until I figure out a way to fit 9 SRB's on the core stage. The third digit is irrelevant and can only be a 2. The fourth digit relates to the presence of a third stage. A rocket without a third stage is a 0, or 5 for the presence of a Star 48B PAM. So, for example, the picture above is a Delta II 7625. Here's mine: I made a new wing part from the Tiberion's Shuttle mod, added a fuel & power generator and dumped two external boosters on. Inspired by the space shuttle from Armageddon.

I like that.

I wish people would stop throwing their opinions around. Pros and cons are subjective. But here's my opinion: NASA's budget has been falling ever since Apollo. Don't you guys count that in? NASA didn't develop a new spacecraft, or improve significantly because they didn't have billions of $$$$$ America doesn't give two and a half s**ts about what happens in space. Anymore. We are like goldfish in a fish tank. Only instead of fish, there are corrupt, fundamentalist politicians.
