  1. Steam downloading something !!! OMG OMG OMG !! ... Assetto corsa update .
  2. Excellent news ! Server migrations usually took between 30 minutes and 12 hours, so we should be good for today.
  3. T - 7 minutes until launch http://www.videocorner.tv/videocorner2/live_flv/index.php?langue=en#.VT1BASGqhBc
  4. Personally I took all the next week off Ok, I must admit it was just a nice coincidence but nice timing anyway Squad, thanks ^^
  5. @smjjames : just take a closer look at Robotengineer's sig Anyway, with GTA V unlocking in around 16 hours on Steam, I hope KSP v1.0 will not be released within the next 4 weeks... I really hate when I have to do hard choices.
  6. It was running at 64mph, but it has just slowed down to 32mph for some reason ^^
  7. Holly orbiting space cow !! Squad ! Don't ever do this again ! I almost had an heart attack when seeing Steam updating KSP ... until I saw it was a 0Kb update (usually meaning deleting stuff)
  8. Hi, First of all, wow just wow ! That thing on the picture ! Where can I order one ? Should fit perfectly in my living room ^^ On a more serious note, here is my thought about Oculus like device regarding simulations purpose. I personally own the Oculus rift DK2 and I had the chance to try some of these Thales simulator devices as well (sorry can't tell how and which ones I tried on the internet, otherwise this entire forum might suddenly disappear without notice ) All I can say is, if the Oculus Rift is a nice piece of technology, it will still take a while until we can use this as a serious training device. Simulators using hard cockpits are still much more efficient to assimilate aircraft's systems and emergency/safety procedures and this is what we want "professionally" speaking. In my humble opinion, we should try to use both of these technology (hard cockpit matching the virtual one) because in term of immersion nothing beat the Oculus Rift for now. But there is still a long way until we have the correct hardware (screen resolution, motion sickness avoidance, ...) to make the Rift safe and ready for use in serious purpose like crew training and such. In the mean time, I am quite confident the Oculus (consumer version) will be a nice entertainment device, my kids already enjoy the DK2 a lot (me too to be honest ^^ )
  9. If you are using Blizzy'z toolbar you may have to activate the button through its settings (while in flight scene). In any case stock toolbar button should have shown up in the first place, strange.
  10. This is what I was about to post, but wasn't sure. Thanks for clearing this up
  11. Hi, Wait what is wrong with 0.8.1 ? You should be just fine with it Sure, I am just too busy right now to work on new features, I will of course update/fix (if needed) the mod once KSP 1.0 comes out, new stuff will come later
  12. Sorry I missread your post, doh ! I got a link for you though : http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/104943-0-90-KSP-Interstellar-port-maintance-thread I guess you tried it already but doesn't this version work with 0.90 ? (I didn't try it yet) Back to Chatterer topic: - you should definitely get sounds then, can you post your installation path from drive root to ogg sound files ?
  13. Sorry, for KSP 0.25 you should stay with Chatterer 0.7.1 or below. Sometimes a simple recompile can fix/break stuff regarding version compatibility. But hey, why you no upgrade to 0.90 in the first place ???
  14. I definitely plan to add an (optional) SSTV sound when transmitting data, it seems there isn't a "transmitting data" gameevent state in code for now, so I have to find another way to deal with this. I will try to reproduce this issue, thanks for the report. Interesting ideas. I will wait to see what kind of sounds Squad will add in KSP v1.0 before starting anything on this though.
  15. This I am sure many remember this : I am confident Squad/Roverdude will put a nice backbone in place, and community will then flesh that out nicely ^^ Also something moddable will help to set the complexity to please anyone.
  16. Oh ! Happy birthday Chatterer then ! Thank you again Iannic-ann-od for your original idea and work and for the reminder as well By the picture we can definitely see that the UI and features improved a bit during these 2 years ^^
  17. I confidently voted "Hell Yeah!" Take it as someone who never played KSP, I even had already a lot of fun the first time I played it (was 0.18 dec.2013). Squad has already showed they got all the experience and means (excellent QA test team, ...) to deliver nice and stable public builds. Plus, if the game has achieved all the goals they planned at development start, the game is definitely feature complete. (and I think they already did more than firstly planned ^^) Personally, I don't need another never-ending early access game. I know several people are not jumping on KSP right now because of its "Early Access" state, because unfortunately, too many projects that took this route failed hard, recently. So final game state should means more people coming in. However, as many stated here, I hope Unity 5 will come as soon as possible and more importantly with a stable win64 build (which gave me a nice +10fps boost and smoothness here) as the only issue I can see is performance and RAM limit when it comes to Mods. I fully trust Squad and I think they fully deserve our support on their decision, so I am a little surprised (disappointed) when I see "No" has 80% vote here :/ Especially when we know that 1.0 is not the end...
  18. Hi, do you see this green text under settings tab ? What would help is this : - turn debug option on - reload a game session - reproduce the issue - post log files
