1. Awesome stuff here ! Oh, nice one, will fix this in next version, thanks for the report
2. Hi, Loving the idea, what about bounding this to KSC Tracking station level : Level 1 : SSTV Level 2 : PSK Level 3 : Modem Put this on my to do list, thanks for the idea
3. Ok this is it, Kerbal had this technology from the start ! Issue closed. Nah just kidding ^^ I like realism and definitely put this re-entry "shut up!" on my to do list. Thanks Whovian for the head up
4. Yep, The dll fix worked great here as well, thanks a lot. Too bad it doesn't work for everyone though.
5. Seriously ? I mean really ? I don't know I never had other cpu than i7's. I just can tell you I am currently on the move and I use an Asus ROG751JT, which has a ... **checking specs** i7 - 4720HQ and I have an surprisingly good gameplay experience with KSP (even quite heavily modded), framerates shows 40-75 fps (75Hz screen), thanks to nVidia G-sync technology, all stay perfectly smooth. Hope this helps.
6.
I installed this mod on a clean install of KSP and it made the shuttle engines sound different. Then I deleted the mod and engine sounds were back to normal. So it's clearly this mod changing the engines sound somehow... I think this problem only came from the recent update of chatterer as I don't remember the previous version having it...
Sorry, I can't reproduce this issue here :( Also I have no clue about what could cause this.
would you consider a chatterer that keeps the chat in native tongue? (love the unintelligble kerbal voice, but would also enjoy hearing the original voice for a change)
Once KSPv1.1 is out (and if 64bits support turn to work fine) you will be able to add any soundset you wish. I will try to do this as simple as possible, like copy/pasta folders which will be autodetected by the mod and voilà(with still a possibility to turn them on/off ingame) Right now, you can already do this but it is kinda complex and you might reach the infamous 32bits memory limits quite fast. ;)
7. Damn Max, that was unexpected ! Wish you the best, will miss your fails on TwitchTV ... really ^^ Also nice to hear it isn't EA nor UBI who take the role of producer for KSP
8. Welcome to the forum sabasNL, and glad you like Chatterer
9. Not at this time I am afraid, as Antenna Range doesn't have something to speak with. But as communication is coming with KSP 1.1, I will definitely use it, if possible, to enable or not chatter accordingly with comm-link status. You are welcome
10. @ regex : Nice idea, added it to my "letsseewhatIcancomeupwiththis" list ^^ Also, I updated the first post with 2 review videos. Thanks again TinyPirate for featuring Chatterer in your 2'Mods series And here is what I call a nice review from maxrsp : Thanks a lot for this video, and also I recommend maxrsp "KSP Easy Mods" series which sounds promising. You almost made me decided to use CKAN ... almost ^^
11. Oh my god ! Can't wait to try this with the Rift, thanks a lot. I guess the file is still waiting for curse approbation.
12. Maybe Kepler found another telescope orbiting a far planet, which is staring at our direction... Oo
13. Background chatter at the tracking station makes sense indeed, I will see what I can come up with @DarkMoon, all capsuleF folders (but Valentina's one) are voluntary empty and are just here to avoid some warning msg in KSP logfile (dirty workaround until I code this properly ^^ ) As for keeping your settings over updates, just keep your ..\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\Chatterer\Plugins\PluginData\Chatterer\plugin.cfg file and you should be fine
14. Wait, so you were using a win64bits KSP build on a 32 bit windows 7 ? Oo EDIT, oh I got it, it was the OP who used Win7 32bits, my bad. But remember to NOT post any bug report outside this thread if you are using the unfamous KSP win64 hack. Or bad things may happen
15. @Hawk-za Pilot in command will still tchitchat with onboardcrew/alone when offline, but KSC will never answer nor start an exchange, also beeps/SSTV will stop as well.
16. @ GrafZahl, thanks for the headup on this one. I am planning to replace my 3 geostationary commsatts and I am sure this will help me out if I mess/forgot some link redirections.
