  1. That was not what I meant. I was not talking about the planet Eve but the mod EVE, Environmental Visual Enhancements . The mod that adds clouds to Kerbin and other atmospheric planets.
  2. I had already given up on this but since it's been resurrected I can't ignore it. The answer I was looking for was indeed Thunder Child.
  3. Sorry, but this isn't even theoretically possible. Not even remotely!
  4. Not one of my favourites but Ship Manifest might be what you're looking for.
  5. If I'm not mistaking B9 adds a new agency and contracts along side the obvious parts.
  6. They had some crazy idea's back then and some even crazier airplane designs. Although I doubt all designs in that video are actual WWII.
  7. You can find all about it right here.
  8. There has been an Interstellar thread on this forum since may this year: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/80281-Interstellar
  9. Classic EM interference. Your microwave oven simple puts out enough energy at precisely the correct frequency to block your wifi signal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_interference_at_2.4_GHz#Microwave_oven
  10. If you're going for stock aerodynamics why use jet engines? Simply build an infiniglider and soar the skies for eternity. (Or for as long as you can last yourself.)
  11. Are we really going to have this discussion AGAIN??? A simple title search for "Workshop" resulted in seven threads apart from this one. The majority locked as this has been discussed to death.
  12. Alt-L locks ALL staging. Stage lock is either ON or OFF. Hitting space multiple times does not disengage stage lock.

Finally??? You might want to watch The Machine and Transcendence.
  14. How can a ring system be done? EVE! From a distance it's just a texture or as you put it, a hologram. Up close a particle system kicks in to give it some volume. Throw in some random terrain scatter, give it its own biome for science and you're pretty much done.
  15. I love the Alt-L stage lock. Not much is more frustrating than having your payload trying to escape the cargobay of your cargo SSTO after accidentally hitting space.
  16. Doesn't look 'real'. Instead it looks a lot like a photograph of a plasticine model. Nicely done.
  17. You might also wonder about the question WHY. Both in KSP and in real life SSTO spaceplanes are extremely cost efficient. They are fully reusable and the only true cost is fuel. One of my favourite SSTO planes in KSP can perform a rescue mission worth 50.000 to 60.000 for less roughly 500 Funds worth of fuel.
  18. Looks like Pthigrivi and I totally agree. The game really needs better aerodynamics AND a set of working fairings.
  19. Personally I'd prefer fairing similar to KW Rocketry. No offence but the Procedural Fairings are, for the lack of a better word, ugly.
  20. Are you sure you're asking the right question? This topic is about biomes, you're asking about bioDomes.

Looks interesting. Definitely something to look forward too. Especially since Neill Blomkamp's fellow South African Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team, 2013 Europa Report, Elysium, Maleficent) is playing one of the leads. By the way, what's so hilarious about Neill Blomkamp's name? He's South African and his surname is Dutch. Nothing strange or remarkable about that. The only true hilarious thing is how most Americans pronounce Dutch names.
  22. Since this challenge asks for an Apollo style landing the memorial would be ideal.
