  1. Color does not really matter of course. But this is (like I already stated in this very same thread) the best solution. And since this is a vBulletin forum it is also the easiest. Especially since people have already written free plugins to do exactly this: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=266246 All the admins need to do it download, install and configure it. There is absolutely no excuse NOT to do this.
  2. What you want is MechJeb Embedded Universal. A very simple ModuleManager file that adds MechJeb functionality to all command pods and probe cores. (Even pods and cores that come with other mods.) You'll no longer need to add the AR202 to your ship and you can't forget to add it either.
  3. Andromeda Ascendant is again something completely different. That's the ship from the TV series Andromeda. OK. that was one just to tease you. My reaction was probably caused by the sudden sharp drop in IQ on the forum. Dozens of necro-posts, a multitude of questions that could be answered within a minute with a proper forum search. And a couple of questions along the lines of 'I need help with this' without explaining what 'this' actually is. Nothing personal but your question clearly belonged in the last category.
  4. Actually there was/is a question still open: So we have two open questions at the moment. When answering either of them please quote the question so there can be no mix-ups.
  5. You can also use Crew Manifest. It allowes you to hire Kerbals from the launchpad and create/change Kerbal stats.
  6. None so far. I've seen weird and strange things happen in KSP but never anything unexplainable.
  7. Two options: 1: You've installed it wrong. 2: You've installed an outdated version. It works perfectly just as always.
  8. If you want learn to manually launch craft I'd suggest you keep MechJeb for now. Instead of letting MechJeb control the launch limit it guiding you. Enable the visual guide path and disable things like throttle control and corrective steering. Now MechJeb will just show you where to aim your craft but you'll have to do that yourself. FAR can be extremely overwhelming for an aerodynamic novice, get NEAR instead. NEAR has the same aerodynamics but is less complicated and much more forgiving.
  9. That's just it. With questions like this people should not HAVE to put in extra effort.
  10. If you ask people such questions it usually helps if you accompany your question with some pictures. 'Jupiter Ascendant'? I have absolutely NO idea what you're talking about. A Google image search for 'Jupiter Ascendant' won't get you anything and a regular Google search doesn't help much either. All you'll get is a variety of astrology mumbo jumbo. All except a single link, an IMDB link to 'Jupiter Ascending'. At least get the freaking name correct next time. I have watched the trailer and still have no clue what you're talking about.
  11. In other words you want the FireSpitter mod to become stock?
  12. Yeah, I miss the wet noodle rockets .... like miss the plague. Kerbal Joint Reinforcement was a god send and I am glad we don't even need that anymore.
  13. Holy Kerbol mother of Jool. A 45 meter engine??? The largest stock engine is 3.75 meter and KW Rocketry has a few 5 meter ones. I really hope you've made some kind of typo. If you're serious failing launch clamps are the least of your problems.
  14. Inside your stock GameData folder should be two subfolders: Squad and NASAmission. The Squad folder contains most of the stock parts and modules. The NASAmission folder contains anything related to the ARM pack e.g. the Claw, the asteroids and things like that. If the NASAmission folder is accidentally deleted so will be the asteroids.
  15. Instead of calling certain people idiots or auto-locking threads there is a much better solution: A big bold pop-up warning the poster he or she is about to revive an old, probably irrelevant thread. If you've got something relevant to add then you can of course ignore the pop-up. If you ignore the pop-up just to say something like 'LOL, that's funny' or 'I agree'. THEN you're an idiot! But they don't. New members don't read the rules before they post. No body does.
  16. You might be interested in BTSM Better Than Starting Manned. It does not add gliders but among other things it rearranges the tech tree so you'll have to develop probes before you can launch crewed capsules.
  17. This article refers to the game Assassins Creed: Unity and has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Unity game engine KSP uses. For Assassins Creed it refers to the name. For KSP it's the game engine.
  18. You overbuilt your SSTO space plane when removing fuel before flight actually increases the dV left after it reaches orbit.
  19. The steam version and the KSP store version are EXACTLY identical. Any mod working on one version will therefore work on the other.
  20. Correct. I was indeed Pandora from the movie Avatar. Time for Helix to post a new question.
  21. OK, here's a new one for you: In the movie The Core the tunnelling machine was build from the imaginary material Unobtainium. Name a place (different movie) where this mineral was actually mined.
  22. Indeed, posting the answer defeats the purpose of the question. It might very well be a simple misunderstanding. Anybody else feeling to post a question?
  23. You already have a mod that could be used to remove some parts of your lander: KAS. All you'll need to do is edit some of the part .cfg files to allow your Kerbal to grab them.
  24. As far as I know Executor is the correct answer. I found the following on Wookieepedia: It's been nearly 24 hours since the answer was given. Unless MrJacobean disapproves before that deadline (he has been online today), Megalodon you're up for the next question.
