  1. Indeed pretty big. How much can it lift to orbit? My Star of Milos can carry about 90 tons.
  2. No offence but didn't I already say this a week ago in post #3?
  3. Same here: 12/12 and indeed there was a question I did not know the answer to. But I was absolutely sure the other 4 answers were dead wrong.
  4. Some items on that site are borderline scams. Others are just insane either in design or price. Or both. But the majority is real. I've seen several of them on TV and a few I've seen with my own eyes. Pretty sure that site is legit.
  5. This idea isn't very new. But that doesn't make the idea itself any less valid. Personally I would like to see the robonaut looking a bit like the StarWars Battledroids. Skeletal design, stored on the outside of the ship and able to unfold to start moving like a Kerbal.
  6. Old suggestion, same old answer: Yes, yes and yes! KSP desperately need more craft icon options.
  7. Get TAC Fuel Balancer. It's one of the easiest ways to quickly transfer fuel from one tank to another without causing unevenly balanced tanks.
  8. Check your remaining fuel. Pump it as far forward as possible to make sure your CoG is still in front of your CoL. Put some airbrakes near the tail of your plane to both slow down and keep the CoD behind your CoG.
  9. Top center of the screen. Open the pull-down menu and select the appropriate craft type. That's the second time today I answered one of your questions.
  10. The only thing you're doing wrong is that you're not reading the message. The message states you don't have a pilot on board. A scientist or engineer Kerbal is not a pilot.
  11. What am I doing in KSP until 1.1? As little as possible! For now I'm done with this piece of faecal matter. I quit KSP about two weeks ago as it has too many bugs and is just too unstable to play with even with only a moderate amount of mods. I'm not even flying ships, just building things in the VAB/SPH is apparently enough to cause fatal crashes. No warning at all, just a single mouse click or key press too many and POOF! desktop.
  12. And this is EXACTLY the problem. It isn't. But is should be!
  13. There is only one person (or group of persons) that can stop this endless discussion once and for all. We all know who can do it and we all know the only possible answer: make kerbalspaceprogram.com THE source for any and all news. Get it out there first, then spread it across other media.
  14. But you do have the official Asteroid Day 'mod' installed. Right?
  15. Actually they did a pretty good job calculating the year. Don't forget the ancestor of the modern calender was created during the middle ages. Record keeping in those times was pretty rudimentary. Calculating backwards for over a millennium and ending up with an error of only a few years is pretty darn impressive.
  16. Problem is, it ISN'T random. The game is biased to giving almost only females. And you are biased to think SQUAD didn't frag-up. And there are many more reports just like those. Getting 20 females in a row completely random and unbiased is indeed not impossible, just highly improbable. About one in a million. Please explain why literally dozens of people have reported this behaviour. If chances are indeed about one in a million only one or two KSP players world wide should have experienced this. The game IS biased. This behaviour IS NOT random. This IS a bug.
  17. Not a lot of easter egg threads? Are you freaking kidding me? I know you're new but did you even bother to search? A simple title search for 'easter egg' gives 4 pages of results. 100 individual threads! One of the most complete lists is the "Easter Egg Stocktake 1.0.4": http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/60551
  18. Sure, proper grammar and spelling have their merit. But people are forgetting we're dealing with a multilingual community here. You CAN NOT expect everybody to be perfect especially since there are an overwhelming amount of non-native English speaking people here who are more fluent than many native English speaking people. I could go on about this a long time but that's not what this topic is about. 90% of the off topic banter is a about it but the OP is not!
  19. It's a well known discussed bug. As far as I know it's caused by the official Asteroid day mod.
  20. Post 1 was about poor adult math and science skills. Post 2 and pretty much everything else was about improper grammar and spelling. WHO CARES ABOUT PROPER GRAMMAR AND SPELLING? Most people here can barely spell anyway. GET THE FRAG BACK ON TOPIC!
  21. OK. That's a reliable source. I am willing to accept that image as a genuine, unmanipulated Mars picture. But without further info it is still not nearly enough to draw any conclusions. Here's another image of the same feature. It's less clear but the shadow of Curiosity's mast cam gives at least some notion of scale. The so called spoon looks very small and thin.
  22. You don't need a geologist, you need a pragmatist! There is no scale reference, nor is there a reliable source. This picture can be anything, anywhere and any when. For all we know it has been photo shopped. All we have here is a picture. Nothing more, nothing less.
  23. Isn't this already the case? If the root part is a control module then the default control is calculated from that point.
  24. When playing career or science mode you first need to unlock the relevant tech-node before it becomes available. (Also: Since this is purely mod related I guess General Add-on Affairs would have been a better place to ask this question.)
