  1. Hello there First of all: Please make sure that you post in the correct section. Suggestions belong into Suggestions and Development Discussion. That said, this is also on the What not to suggest? list that is stickied there: The items on this list have either been discussed to death or had a definitive decision made already. In this case, the decision that was made is that this is not planned. Please refer to the list and avoid making suggestions that are already on said list. Do also read the stickied threads aside from it. FEichinger
  2. Ihr könntet natürlich in Rocket Builders einen Angebotsthread aufmachen. Dort entsprechend dann auf Englisch. Edit: Achja, uh ... Hallo und so.
  3. Hello there Just a reminder: Please refrain from talking about removed posts. They were removed for a reason - no matter who removed them - and pushing them into the discussion yet again is not constructive at all. I'm not gonna go through the posts and purge it, but I'm closely watching and I will take action if this warning ends up insufficient. FEichinger
  4. Hello there As has been addressed, random failures have been suggested multiple times - and were already denied by Squad. The What not to suggest? list is in place because these topics have been discussed from just about every angle imaginable (the Search probably brings up some stuff about it, too), or have already had some clear decisions made about them. In this case, it's the decision to avoid random influences as much as possible. I'm closing this thread now. FEichinger
  5. Or you could have reported this with the fancy warning sign and we would have moved it already. Please refer to our Forum Rules and refrain from attacking users over innocent mistakes, will ya. That said, moving this thread out of here, as it actually belongs into Gameplay Questions and Tutorials. FEichinger
  6. Hello there As has been noted, what you're suggesting is on the What not to suggest list, as it has been suggested repeatedly and has been discussed to death. Please refer to the list and use the Search function to find other threads on this topic. I'm closing this thread now. FEichinger
  7. Hello there The referred portfolio contains a variety of NSFW and rather inappropriate pictures. We wish to provide a place for the entire community, and as such our Forum Rules prohibit such messages: (emphasis mine) I have taken the liberty to remove the reference itself, and all subsequent comments about it. FEichinger
  8. Hello there I'm giving you guys a single warning here: This thread is not about the EULA, the TOS, the "sales-pitch", anyone's interpretation of the word "contract", or anything else related to people wanting what they think-they-might-perhaps-because-law-is-stupid be entitled to. This thread is purely about the article on Polygon and a reminder that you should perhaps not call for the heads of developers that don't do exactly as you say. If you believe there are actual, substantial problems with the way the aforementioned agreements are laid out, feel free to voice your concerns - and preferably also suggestions to solve them - in an appropriate thread. This is not said thread. FEichinger
  9. Hello there Yes, it is normal that new users' posts need to be approved. This is a rather effective way to reduce spam and pre-screen messages that may be inappropriate. It does, however, cause some funny issues when the OP of a thread is edited. I have approved the posts now, and everything should be back to normal. FEichinger
  10. Hello there As has been noted, this thread belongs into the forums under control of General Off Topic (clearly an NSA spy, that's why his current identity is "The Space Lounge" for whatever reason). Operation "Move" in progress. FEichinger
  11. Hello there Look, folks, we all know that KSP isn't optimised and is very restricted due to Unity - Whether (and when, and how much) that changes depends on a lot of factors. That doesn't justify that you rage and insult against Squad and fellow users. A lot of this has been discussed before, and the same conclusions have been drawn every time, so don't dig it up every time just to turn it into mudslinging from the start. I'm closing this now as some of this thread really went far out of line. FEichinger
  12. Hello there Spaceport is being completely rewritten for various reasons (the current chaos being one). Thanks to the great sum of changes, it is unlikely that any suggestions made at this point will still be relevant when Spaceport 2 is deployed. If they are, they can then be posted again. I'm closing this now. FEichinger
  13. Hello there Warsoul: Please put your suggestion in a clear and concise format. Right now, hardly anyone can tell what you're even suggesting and why on Earth you're posting your model here. Everyone: There is no need to turn to personal attacks. Of course it gets annoying really fast when someone pushes the same point over and over again, but that just means that they need direction, not a Stop sign. I'm closing this now. You can repost the suggestion in a better format, if you wish. FEichinger
  14. Hello there What you're suggesting here is on the What not to suggest list, because it has been suggested repeatedly. Please read through the stickies before posting. Closing this. FEichinger
  15. That's not implemented in a language, just pseudo code. What it says is that it will check if the throttle is greater than zero - If it is, it will store the current value and cut the throttle to zero. If it isn't (the current throttle, therefore, is zero), it restores the last stored value.
  16. It wouldn't. The suggestion asks for the following logic: IF throttle > 0 DO stored_throttle = throttle, throttle = 0 ELSE DO throttle = stored_throttle, stored_throttle = 0 Nothing else. For the record: I still disagree with any such "restore" button. Cutting throttle makes sense - cut the fuel supply - but opening the valve to full in a split second isn't exactly the safest thing to do.
  17. Just for reference, here's a couple of threads which discussed this back in the old suggestion forums: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/38140-instant-throttle http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/35674-Engine-to-max-power
  18. Hello there Please note a couple of things: We already have a thread discussing the .22 update. Suggestions belong into the Suggestions and Development Discussion forum. (We have kindly moved the thread for you now.) A lot of your suggestions were already suggested and are also on the What not to suggest list now. Please read through the stickies and various forum descriptions when posting - find the right place, know its rules and post accordingly. With that said, I'm closing this. FEichinger
  19. Hello there Of course this discussion was held multiple times already, with the same result ("No, the devices can't run it.", "They could give us a toned-down version." yada yada yada). There is, however, no need to provoke people over their choice of device, or their ideas here. I'm asking you all only once to stay nice to each other. FEichinger
  20. Let's ask this from a different angle: When do you forget to deploy the gears in time? I can't picture any situation whatsoever.
  21. I can assure you, it was not deleted because we disagree with it. It was, as I said in my post before, removed because it bordered on outright offensive due to its wording. Whether or not we agree with the general notion is an entirely different topic. Once your current suspension ends, you may well contact one of us to talk this through - discussing it in public is a no-no, though. FEichinger
  22. Hello there So, guys, you had three pages to stick to the topic. Instead, you went on a vitriol-filled tangent about whether or not SketchUp caused performance issues. I'm closing this now, because I'm seeing this go everywhere - just not back to the topic. FEichinger
  23. Hello there We can safely assume that Wikipedia does not want the current content there - and, given that this hit Speedy Deletion, probably nothing of the sort at all. I would strongly recommend planning ahead, if anyone does want to put an article there. That said, I've done some cleanup here in this thread, as this was going down the road of outright offensive. Stay nice, people. We can all post opinions on this without being condescending. FEichinger
  24. [citation needed] All I see is a vocal minority, just like with the End Flight button.
