  1. Hello, Due to RCS Fuel problems we need to send up a second ship to rescue the cargo ship and try to get it docked to the station. Due to major lag problems, we wernt able to complete the mission, so the second rescue ship goes up tonite. The error anamoly was verified not to exist on the ground so we try again to launch... http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Launch Commander Bill Kerman Presiding ...
  2. Howdi, HTV-3 Docking operations to occur tonite - this will be a 'part-ARG' live mission. HTV-4 maneuver operations will also occur. Possible launch attempt of Explorer 3c to Kerbol. Operations shud begin around 1930 hours EST. http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta KSC Operations
  3. Greetings, We are pleased to inform our live stream viewers and general public that current missions to support our first space station are on schedule; well, ahead of schedule. Necessary upgrades to systems are in process. Commander Zeta is still lost in space - Commander Bill Kerman presiding. KSC launch and comms crews deployed... The launch of the HTV-4 mockup at the secondary KSC went well it seems, with maneuvers having taken place. The HTV-3 mockup was renamed as such, to further signify great international space relations; we arnt making many space waves with the secondary KSC; they seem to be interested in joint efforts up there. We do speculate, and are careful to assess, the implications of their 'help', and am tying this in with the recent activities on Kerbin and Munar radio signals; but again we arnt making any space waves about it. The HTV-3 mockup previously launched, was abit shaky - we launched it no less. Also we launched or tried to launch an exploration mission to Kerbol, our sun; 2 attempts were a total failure with 2 other stellites in low Kerbin orbit. We seem to have automation systems fails with the RCS; we are working the problem and may attempt another launch tonite. Tonite there will be HTV-3 maneuvers to get the craft close to the station for docking; this will be a part-live event part-ARG mission; we expect operations to begin soon, possibly around 8PM Earth EST time barring any shortages in snack foods. HTV-4 docking and birthing schedules remain: 0730 for capture and 0930 for docking maneuvers, with live stream operations to begin around 0600 EST Earth time. KSC Offices
  4. Howdi, It's pretty much as is from the last few posts here and on the mission/arg threads as far as where I am . Sadly I am running v.20 for now until the end of the week. The last few months have been very tiring, somewhat hectic, dealing with home health issues. I have had some personal problems some of which I did not want to take care of, but finally I have done some things around here that I never thought would happen; like my man-cave. I still have a bunch of personal stuff to do at home and it will be a long road for me; but I have a place to relax and stream videos; KSP has brought me thus far and will continue to do so. I have to 'play' other games so I dont get burnt out, and I see that happening here with KSP, that is why I elected to run KSP Roleplay and the ARG missions; this is great stuff and I enjoy it alot. It would be just more fun if people would chime in the ARG missions to guess what is going on. The last attempt was to give someone a chance to offer their module for our Kerbal Space Station, and they had to guess what the ARG was (the launch of HTV-4); it was very last minute; but the idea was there for 15 minutes haha! I will try to give a week's notice or so. The ARG event will be live streamed starting 0500hrs EST this Friday. It should be easy to figure out what it is; if someone does and reports it in the ARG thread, they win a chance to get a module of theirs up to our station; it has to be small tho; maybe a stock or similar; I am hoping I can apply a LOGO to it for recognition; that module will be launched at a later date, maybe in v21. Good Luck! I may stream KSP tonite - I was thinking of sending up a probe maybe to get a close Kerbol encounter. If I get 5+ viewers I might; just might; otherwise I am chasin dragons on the stream haha! Cdr Zeta, currently lost in space with Commander Bill Kerman taking charge at the Kerbin KSC.
  5. Manuvering of KISSUP4...short stream then I am off to dragon lands ... streaming that too if you wanna hang out ... my mic works now taka... Cdr Zeta
  6. Hello, Live ARG launch succeeded with a hitch or 2 luckily we were able to recover and complete the mission ! (WHEW !) We still have work to do on those ASP separations ! Next live ARG event will be the docking of the KISSUP HTV4 to the KISS on Friday at 6AM EST we will check the times to make sure. There will be a correction burn (also possible live ARG event) tonite starting at 9PM EST 9 need to check this) of the KISSUP HTV4. Video event will be saved: http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta/b/440294275 Thank you for watching and sorry for the short notice ! At least the docking will be Friday morning for you early birds !!! Dont miss it ! Cdr Zeta
  7. Greetings, Streaming: http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta If anyone guess the event, there is another requirement that must be met; then you win. You have less than 15 minutes... Cdr Zeta
  8. Greetings... There has been a major change to the timeline of events !!! We have been informed by the GSC that the scheduled 'event' will occur like now... Please see ARG thread !!! KSC
  9. Greetings from the KSC Offices All is going well - we plan on space station work during the Earth time EST hours of the night for live stream video feeds. There seems to have been a leak in an event going on; we cannot release any details, but the KISS missions are going well. For the most part any work being done up there is posted on the live stream threads - stay tuned there for immediate updates ! We are not in contact with Cdr Zeta but have been informed that the GSC is in touch with him to the extent that they know he can receive messages and transmit on occasion; data is sketchy. There was also word of some kind of a contest going on - them kerbal rabal rousers just dont know when to quit - they want to sneak in and get a free ride up there to outer space! Well they just might get their wish; something about a module and a craft and the KISS; we are slightly out of the loop over there at the secondary KSC. At any rate we will also try to help over there in any way we can; they may be smart over there with all that top secret stuff goin on but they learnt the basics right here at the academy; I just wish we knew more about the teams working there. 10. Howdi, I have been taking a break from KSP; wanting to run the new version but am using v20 due to ease of use and time constraints. Mission data will eventually be ported over without adding stream info. I seem to be on a land of dragons an such lately and am finding it somewhat challenging but fun to some extent for what it is. I discovered the mechjeb docking and rendezvous automation systems - I like them and intend to use them for now; I just am feeling abit behind the times with KSP; no worries I will learn to fly manual all in good time ! Launches are manual for the most part and am learning manual operations as I go. The automation systems help me to learn that as well so I can throw in damages etc to the mix for Roleplay fun; but at the same time I want to play the game and excel here as well. I still have alot to learn; remote ops/comms; mapsatting...lots of good stuff here. Tonite I will join up our (wait!!)....OUR Kerbal Space Engineers will join up our space station hubs and get ready for an ARG event tomorrow !!! Please go to the ARG thread and chime in there to see if you can guess what the event will be ! One hint was already posted. This is what ARG's are about: community gaming; not just me. Today I am hunting dragons an such so if you want to pop over feel free...ya never know when some ARG Space Info will surface, revealing secrets of ARG missions etc !!! Any ARG secrets revealed in any videos will not be saved (!); they may in fact be deleted after the live stream ! Commander Zeta (me !) is beginning to receive messages on his comms every so often since 4 of the 5 nano-mags have been placed. As you know the 5th one may have also been placed by an unknown entity, causing some minor unexpected disturbances in the TSCTW still; but the system is more stable and cannot be hacked into as the TSCTW has already been aligned b the GSC once each nano-mag is installed; after a section is aligned the nano-mag serves no further purpose! Cdr Zeta
  11. From the KSC Mission success and rollin on to dock with the second module to bring it back to the station...I will save the vid. Altho it was all done by autopilot, it was very efficient and AWESOME ! TOTALY AWESOME - THANK YOU MECHJEB ! KSC Offices
  12. Hello, Tonite in honour of Earth Progress Mission #50 we will run a concurrent KISSUP mission number 2... We need to try and join the space station hubs... http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Your friendly Kerbal Space Engineers...
  13. KSC Offices: 1) Second KSC discovered - Delta Team enroute 2) Space Station Launch - KISS or the Kerbin International Space Station 3) KISS resupply missions - KISSUP 1, 2, 3 etc Missions 4)... Website updates on hold due to time constraints... We will be attempting to connect the 2 space station hubs together tonite; KISSUP 1 failed to connect to the main hub. After some thought the KISS hub will revert to the first resupply ship - it looks better HAHA ! We certainly had fun trying last nite and ran out of RCS - we will have alot more RCS this time around ! We will be looking at the v21 upgrades again and trying to implement them into the current mission. Concurrent mission design is a reality with the 'ARG' mode of missions...(!) Although most 'ARG' missions wont be live, the first one, the resupply launch, was ! We need to get over there and make sure the video is saved ! We believe the last nano-mag needing to be recovered is located on the moon as a short signal was recieved last nite in the radio observatory; the GSC is reporting that it seems to have been activated; we dont know how, and we dont know if Cmdr Zea will hear/see the signal on his equipment and assume it is functioning properly to return to the Kerbin System; if he uses it we fear he wont be returing but will be sent somewhere else in space and time. Our priority is to get out there and find this headache of a chip. KSC Offices...
  14. Hello From the KSC: Space Station Mission Support launch in honor of the successful Earth Progress Mission(s) - Newly named is the KISS for Kerbin International Space Station and the supply missions for it called the "KISSUP" Missions. Launch in about 15 to 20 minutes ...there will be some accelerations of time as allowed... Version 20 used...no upgrades supported at this time... Look for a wonderful flights and docking... http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Wish the mission good luck ! Cdr Zeta
  15. Hi, I am back finally almost back that is ! I am streamin but only come over if yer bored haha ! I aint bored but I had major issues with my computer - I had to reinstall windows 7 like twice over the weekend - ffsplit doesnt work now for mw so I am tryin OBS - c'mon over if you wanna see me work on setting up my stream - I am just messin around with setups - I wont be running the ARG mission until tonite until everything is stable - I tried OBS before and didnt like it - now it is looking better then ffsplit - not to put it down or anything - I saw the blogs on the ffsplit development - kind of buggy sorry to say but hey its free and if it works for people its a great program - it served me well til I couldnt install it on the rewind. http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Hopefully I shud be on tonite and get my misssions goin again - trouble is tho I am running v20 for a little bit cause I really want to get the ARG mission in - the outlook is good for tonite ! Should be fun ! Cdr Zeta
  16. Hi, The first part of the ARG was a timed launch of Kerbin Space Station Module along with the "Progress 52' launch to resupply the ISS. I had originally planned to get the KJSS hub launched, then launch s similsr 'Progress 52' launch support rocket at the same time but I had too much preparation; I was lucky to do the launch simultaneously. So the first part of the ARG went okay. The second part was to time the docking and do a docking on KSP as well tonite; well my main computer suffered s msjor breakdown and I cant boot on it due to a logitech uninstall not working and crashing it; I am gonna try to repair it other wise I have to do a clean install - it was due for it anyways. I was very excited to do this docking ARG and everything went haywire - I tried desperately to get a livestream up on another computer (the one I am on now) - that failed, then I tried to get a desktop vid capture going - that failed - this backup computer didnt have much on it so just as I was ready to record (which I did get a recording but just the aud - ) what ever that computer crashed too - just froze and the blue screen of death came up - so upstairs I went to watch the docking on tv - 20 million viewers watchin it or more. It was a learning experience I dont want to go thru again; I was installing a few things and shouldnt have hours before a planned event; NO INSTALLS the day of events !!!!! I will be getting the recording of the 'Progress 52' docking, and play it back when I am ready to dock the support module to our new KSP KJSS or Kerbin Joint Space Station - it will be a 'partial' live ARG event - at least I got the launch vid down! http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta/b/436823019 Msybe I can get my computer up and running again and do the ARG feed tomorrow nite... Cdr Zeta
  17. Greetings: ARG Event Running: http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Cdr Zeta
  18. From the KSC Offices: Simulations tests are currently being run off and on today - there will be some live video feeds during testing. All satellite deployments have been, well, we dont really know what happened to them...we believe...never mind...this mission is too....UGH ARGHHH !!!! 'Mission Restart' has been given a go by the KSC (Kerbin Space Council); 'MAIN' mission control is in development but is operational, so there may be some glitches here and there ! Delta Team has been recalled as you may know; Delta Opeations is needed, however there seems to be a more pressing matter - the location of another nano-magneto device for the GSC, and we know these devices send out signals when they are not deployed, altho of limited range. We have developed a prototype reciever to pick up the signal if it is on Kerbin; the test equipment is being readied as we speak, but may not be operational for a few more days. The reciever will be deployed as part of the space station goodies, which as it seems has been pushed up the timeline due to this problem; sorry Delta Team that mission will have to wait. For further information, stay tuned to the livestream channel... (Update: All activities pushed back 1 hour ! Data has been collated and is ready for live video feeds at any time after 1400EDT) KSC Offices
  19. Greetings From The KSC or Kerbin Space Council: As you know Cdr Zeta was running special ops missions to deploy a special device on radio antennas back on Earth and in a few other systems. All nano-mag deploys successful; mission 4 needs a video feed, and mission 5, the last mission, was supposed to recover another nano-mag for the GSC or Galactic Space COuncil in repair of the TSCTW or the galactic Timespace-continuum Transwarping wormhole system; these devices are merely data transmitters to collate data as to the TSCTW's functions and for the GSC to tune the darn thing. Until the last mission is completed the whereabouts of Cdr Zeta remains a mystery. His last mission was to intercept the space odyssey mission and deploy the nano-mag on it's antenna before it completed it's mission; we believe that was done. The Odyssey ship dissappeared into the SUN so far as we know many years ago; we believe the Kerbin System is a result of the so-called Jupitor mission from the Odyssey, and the monolith creation; we expect to find the Odyssey in the Kerbin system with Cdr Zeta aboard - we hope. Back on Kerbin, all systems are undergoing a computer upgrade; all operations have been rescinded and upgrades are being placed on current missions. The Delta team and Operations teams at the KSC have been recalled; they will all return shortly ! Operation Version 21 is now a go...there will be some live video feeds in about an hour or so...the KSC Academy SIMULATOR will be in operation and we will try to get a new Delta Team out there to the Abzu Desert ASAP before night hits. We may be able to port our new plane over, but am still having parts problems; still looking for some air storage on our planes. The KSC
  20. from the KSC offices ... Delta Team needs support equipment...it is night so the mission will be difficult ... there will be SIM modes to test flights then the mission will begin... a discovery was made regarding time... it seems that current mission exits do not change or revert times of other ongoing missions.... a discovery was made regarding space...well we are not sure yet on this one, but the orbital data does not correlate http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta ...
  21. Howdi, I will be streamin for an hour or so - yes this time KSP haha I know I been streamin other storyline stuff but hey thats the way the story goes...I need to work on that a little; for now the storyline mode is back to Kerbin, and we need to send support items to 'The Delta Team' near a Kerbin secret location - spoiler so beware... I still havnt found all the artifacts on Kerbin - these 2 I found using my spy satellite - not ISA Mapsat which BTW is deployable but my engineers have not produced nor researched it yet; I am slow and thats how I like it cause this is one game I am not spoiling for myself !! So today for an hout or so I need to get my spaceplane, well plane, its not technically a space plane, launched into low orbit to, well not really an orbit, but launched farther than it would normally go using just the jet fuel. Watch me as I figure out how to balance my load; I have not tried this yet technically, but I know what I am in for; there will be many tests 'AND' I wont be actually flying the plane after launch for any long period cause I know how to fly 'AND' land it; it is my rescue plane. I have the controller but I dont need to use it. SO hop on over and check out my fails til I get it right (I hope!). All Tests Done In SIMULATION Mode ! http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta Cdr Zeta, still lost in space somewhere - NOT In The Kerbin System Yet - In fact I dont really know where I am yet ! And one of my clones went haywire; I it messed up a nano-mag and the extraction sent him to some place in the wild wild west...this storyline will be reported soon; I need to find the game I have not even played yet !
  22. Hi ! Not sure about KSP stream but the KSP storyline is on... As the story goes, nano-magnetos must be installed into various radio antenna of the past and possible future timelines for transwarping to occur within the Milky Way and for Cdr Zeta to get back to the Kerbin System. There was a report of nano-mag 4 install (!?); we dont know the extent of this deploy, and have yet to reveal a video; but the GSC has assured us that the deploy was successful. Unfortunately there was a reversion and/or rift stress/fracture and nano-mag #2 must be placed again...there were incidences of time continuum stresses so we are redoing the mission, but this time with more minimal loss of life to any local species. Data stream will be up to view the event live...it should be easier this go around...just lengthy, about an hour if we are lucky. If the test passes, there needs to be some rocket tests in the KSC SIM, and SIM-Tests of Delta Team supplies deployment. http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta From the GSC offices... PS: There was a leaked video - possible Zeta-Clone gone awry; lost? It seems as tho ...ya...there will be a live stream of this event at some point; only info - wild wild west? securing an ancient gold piece to avert some loss of life which then saves a butterfly species that ultimately saves humankind?...something of the PD gone awry ? Something from the future interfering? no further data available
  23. Sounds like a winner ! I been so busy trying to setup my command center (at home ya harr harr) I never thought about this. I was gonna run the 'KSC SIMULATOR' and stream it out tonite - I really need to run more tests so I dont get my kerbies stranded. I have started a few missions though; havnt even gone to the Mun (mission-wise) - kinda pullin back too cause this game is all I play now and I needed to break things up alot to avoid burnout, which already happened once or twice. This game is always fresh for me cause I am also roleplaying the dickins out of it, and also setting up the Alternate Reality Game or ARG for it; I have big plans on this end...so it is a good idea to pull those kerbies back if they are out on mission, and even a good idea to keep mission status in line with updates (RP-wise speaking); that could even be factored into the roleplay; upgrading of systems; new technologies; pace the game out. I know now things are kind of 'similar' all around gamewise here; but there are learning possibilities that one has to create on our end to make it a more useful (not only) game but learning experience. This game offers artwork to so one could work on that; keep our kerbies within space-arms's reach and get them back or at least have them situated; there is no reason also why we couldnt just start over; we have the designs that work but we may still have to rebuild them as I found out. Thanks for the post - I also suppose when we are streaming our missions live we could reset up the missions 'offline' and then continue; no one wants to see repeat missions; and they shud get easier once we have done them too. I spent 3 months in the 'SIM' learning this game before I started missions; I still have alot to do to gear up for missions and roleplay; that's just how I play this; this game is so great and has potential in many areas, is why I am taking it slow here. Commander Zeta, lost in space still tryin to get back to Kerbin HAHA !
  24. ...---... let's watch and see if Commander Zeta has the 'right stuff' to deploy nano-mag number 3 last nite cdr zeta ran a few missions and had problems with the Terran Forces, since been resolved but keeping the prime directive in force by the GSC - they seem to have more counterparts out there than we are led to believe?... Cdr Zeta re-supplies and sets off for space unkown...as it turns out, he has sent clones out there it seems, not risking his own life until the right target is found...will he succeed tonite?! no - this is not KSP per se, but the storyline is; the plots are deep within the KSC and GSC, extending beyond time and space, to an ancient alien intelligence that even the GSC is unaware of - or are they? the time for the 'ARG' is growing near, and altho the clues are far and few between, the 'chaos' of it all is there nevertheless... http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta the moon is on the rise ...
  25. from the offices of the GSC ... Commander Zeta is on mission 3 of 5 deploying a special device to repair something...details elswhere... the mission(s) continue ... will he make it back to Kerbin ...? he is in it for the long haul ... are you? can you aide him in his quest for ..... http://www.twitch.tv/cdr_zeta ... --- ... -.. . --- .... -- --- .. ... --- -. .-.. -.-- - .... . -... . --. .. -. -. .. -. --. .................................................................................................
