  1. Yeah, I think we've decided that's true.
  2. Sorry, I'm not sure what the difference is?
  3. You pre-ordered duke nukem, didn't ya.
  4. Sorry, I think you're wrong here. Especially since 1.0.5 is still there.
  5. Not at all. I was pointing out your reasonableness and agreeing. These kind of threads are the boards attempt to moderate itself. No one want's to stifle anyone, it's just that lots of people are getting tired of it. Thus my question, what do you expect to happen? If it's anything other than what you answered, it's unreasonable and unlikely to happen. All that's been acknowledged. Yes, it's broken. Yes, it's being fixed. What else is there to say?
  6. This is the only reasonable answer, I expect that's exactly what they're doing. Poodling why things happened or why didn't things happen about anything else isn't going to do anything. I don't think anyone is dismissing complaints out of hand but at some point, you have to turn on the noise filter. "This is broken! How did it happen?" "It's being worked on." "It's still broken! Why?" "They're working on it." "But it's broken!" Ad nauseam.
  7. So what is it you want to happen?
  8. I expect that he's been hit by the Forum Profanity FilterTM
  9. So, I'm building this truck, see. It's eventual destination is Gilly to mine and process ore. What I want is for this truck to be able to go from surface to orbit and back to refuel ships. Here's the problem: it's a truck, as I said, so imagine this truck with engines and rcs thrusters on all four corners. Problem is, the CG is going to change, longitudinally, based on the state of fullness of the tanks. It's easy enough in the VAB to change the thrust of either the back or front set of engines/thrusters to balance to the CG. Not so after it's in service. What are my options? Any mods that will self balance it? Anything that will show me CoT and CG outside the VAB? Thanks.
  10. Let's talk about poor Neilbro Kerman. His brother was the first kerbal to set foot on the Mun. Needless to say, he's always second best to his family. Always second fiddle to his big brother. Heck, they even gave him almost the same name as his older brother! "Neilbro, why can't you be more like your brother?" So he became an astronaut, landed on Minmus, and even then it wasn't good enough for them! "Minmus? Pfeh! Your little sister landed on Minmus just last week! The gravity is so low you could do it with a jetpack!" He worked and worked, got on mission after mission, performing flawlessly on every one. Because of his hard work and spotless record, he was picked to command the first kerballed expedition to Eeloo. In fact, the first Kerbal to set foot on Eeloo was going to be Neilbro. The farthest known body orbiting Kerbol. He was going to be gone for years, but it was going to be worth it. Eeloo was a way bigger deal anyway. The sheer planning and design that went into the mission was staggering. The launch went off without a hitch. The burn for Eeloo went perfectly. He was on his way. The day came when the ship entered Eeloo's influence. Only then did he come to the realization that the burn was going to take more dV than he had in his tanks. He didn't even have enough for a capture. Neilbro is still out there somewhere, raging at the unfairness of the universe.
  11. So how does it know when a ship is a station? The parts it contains?
  12. Right. But in the case of how much mass it has for a given volume, pressure is irrelevant.
  13. Yep. A cockpit full of water, the pressure being irrelevant since it's incompressible anyway, has a lot more issues than O2 at 5 psi. The inertia on that would be a pain to deal with.
  14. If you rename it and set it's type to station, you might get a contract to expand if from there, but I doubt it will count as a "new" station.
  15. I dunno. I knew what it was immediately. Nice Tony.
  16. This may be part of the problem. If they disappear from the Available tab after a time then no problem. If they disappear from the Active tab after their deadline time, then you get a hit to your reputation because you failed to complete them on time.
  17. Because then you'd have a poll to poll paradox which would tear space and time asunder!!!!!!!11!!11!!Eleven
  18. Bug, I'd expect. Did you look in the archives tab to see if anything is funky in there?
  19. Which is why I absolutely hate the Drake equation and other speculative "proofs" of life in the universe. And "scientists" who claim we will find life off earth in the next 20 years. Utter hogwash. The data set is entirely too small to make any meaningful value of what that probability actually is. Life may very well be singular. I expect that it's not, but to be intellectually honest we have to entertain that possibility. We have several theories as to how life may start. Until we can answer that question, all else is an interesting conversation, but not proof.
  20. Yeah, I vaguely remember Apollo 11. I remember Skylab and Apollo Soyuz. When the Voyagers returned high-resTMpictures of the outer planets. Viking on Mars. It's not all bad.
  21. LOL Nah. I was old before KSP came around.
