  1. Make sure the MMI_kethane.dll is in the Kethane plugins folder, not the EL plugins folder. Other than that I don't know what would be causing it.
  2. Because this only works on the surface of a planet. It doesn't work in orbit, because it spawns the craft with 0 velocity relative to the surface. If you try to spawn in orbit and physics loads then it will end up crashing into the launchpad at 2400 m/s. If you want to launch in orbit, I'd recommend using the OrbitalConstruction mod instead.
  3. Yellow to red are ore deposits; yellow is the most ore, red is the least. White to green are kethane deposits, white being most, green being least. Most likely you need to delete the kethane.cfg from your saves file.
  4. What that will do is replace the bin with the model of the default fuel tank. Check to make sure there aren't two fuel tanks now.
  5. With the latest version you have to use the drill from Kethane pack.
  6. You need to put the MMI_Kethane.dll into the Plugins folder in your Kethane folder, otherwise it won't work.
  7. You need to delete the kethane.cfg from your save folder.
  8. Actually, Ore is the other way around - red is low density, yellow is high.
  9. The update to Kethane 0.5 broke my auger. However, if you use the Kethane drill in an ore deposit, it will mine ore.
  10. Sure! I just added this to the part.cfg: MODULE { name = ExLaunchPad debug = true }
  11. It would. But the origin faces the wrong way, meaning that if I try to use it I get this: It's kind of buried in the Mün.
  12. Err, yeah, I should add a way to turn them off, shouldn't I.
  13. I'm working on this; it's because they were exported with the 0.18 parttools. I'm trying to update to 0.20. I would love to have a model like that, but I don't have the time to make one; that's why I just made a simple model and concentrated on the plugin. If someone can make a model like that, though, I'd love to include it.
  14. Did you put the MMI_Kethane.dll in the Kethane folder? It won't work if you put it anywhere else (it will just do the sky thing you mentioned).
  15. Just ignore it. .DS_Store is a file Mac OSX includes when you create a .zip, to put icons in the same place. It's not needed.
  16. That replaces the default mmi_kethane.dll in the Kethane folder if you want mining support. Otherwise just delete it.
  17. UPDATE: I have updated the plugin to base off of Kethane 0.5. It should now be compatible with all the newest parts. Get it here. In map view, Kethane is green to white, and Ore is yellow to red, both depending on the quantity in that deposit.
  18. UPDATE: I have updated the plugin to base off of Kethane 0.5. It should now be compatible with all the newest parts. Get it here.
  19. The launchpad is a placeholder model. Also, 0.20 seems to have broken my textures.
  20. The modified Kethane plugin should make new deposits, both of Kethane and Ore. Note that this will change the locations of Kethane deposits, so if you already have a mining colony there may not me a deposit there anymore.
  21. It definitely works with 0.4.3, and should work with 0.4.4.
  22. This will currently only work with the drills from Kethane 0.4. I am in the process of updating it to work with 0.5.
  23. Land a launchpad on the Mun. To launch a new ship from it, instead of clicking "Launch", click "Save", go to the Mün launchpad in the space center, and click "Load ship" and load the ship you just made.
