  1. I disagree. More parts is better whichever way you look at it. New players are introduced to the parts via the career path.
  2. Hi all, As some of you may know, Squad said that there would be a grace period before all the old wing parts where removed. This didn't happen as they removed the small and large ailerons. I would like to ask Squad why did you not give us the same grace period with those parts? And would it be so awful If they and the other wing parts where left in game? Yeah sure they are not a shiny as the SP+ parts but what's wrong with having more options? The SP+ wings are so thick they are not as usefull for complex builds.. Thank you for listening and I hope someone from Squad reads this. MJ
  3. Yes I would like to hear from Squad ad to why they deleted this part! Let's start a poll to bring it back! What's the harm in having more options?? Why take it away Squad? Why can't we have both?
  4. Thank you for doing this! The small surface was so good for small builds. The new one is too big and too thick to be as useful. Having said that, using this now would mean my craft where... Modded. So I think I will just bite the bullet and stick to the new stock parts. Dammit... MJ
  5. Ooh OK, I haven't looked closely at the wings yet. Trade a lower part count for looks. I like. Will see what I can do tomorrow after work.
  6. Oh man I'm gunna have to redo all my Constellation rockets.. I cant wait! They are a lot more boxy though.. Worth it just to be white? We shall see.
  7. Yeah I just found this out.. Oh how Ive come to rely on it! On a brighter note Ive begun remaking the craft that where affected by the patch. The SPR rover still looks cool: This is what greeted me on the site of the Duna Constellation landing! Hedgehog rovers!
  8. Cool isn't it! GusTurbo brought it to my attention.
  9. Hey man, As part of my Constellation mission I brought along a little ion glider: It had more than enough lift in the thin atmosphere and the one ion engine was enough to circumnavigate the planet reaching an orbit of around 80,000M. As long as you launched to coincide with the day cycle its totally doable. And the one ion engine although slow to get going was more than enough power. I didn't need to use full throttle either and the number of panels was sufficient. Doing it again I would have taken one more Xenon tank though for longer stays. The many probe bodies really helped to keep it controllable, it was very tricky without them. And landing was very tricky as scrubbing off speed takes an age on Duna. But all in all it worked as intended even though it ended up like this:
  10. Holy Mary! That's an amazing looking cargo bay door. Pushed up with landing legs?
  11. Wow I'm in the top ten! Thank you to all who gave me rep! It really makes sharing feel worthwhile knowing people enjoy your work. And thanks OP for starting this. Its very interesting. MJ
  12. Yup, with Kronal Vessel Viewer. Try it out its great!
  13. I would love to but Kerbpaint currently doesn't work with the landing gear, and its 90% landing gears..
  14. Going to redo the sides of this thing. Its perfect front and back but fugly side on. Batman deserves better.
  15. And the new SP+ command pods have lift now too so lifting bodies are possible without lots of clipped wing surfaces. Like my stock Dreamchaser.
  16. Just downloaded this today, its ace! Here are some of mine. Batman tumbler SNC Dreamchaser Luna Landing Training Vehicle Ares V with MTV 'Copernicus' Payload, from my stock Duna Constellation mission
  17. HI all, I just downloaded KVV and its amazing for making gifs! Here is a gif I made of the Thrust measuring rig.
  18. HI, I just downloaded this from Curse and I too cannot get the explode view to work. What gives?
