  1. Riiight I see. That does make sense. I fixed the link too, thanks.
  2. Hi Sgt_flyer, I think your method is far too complex. If you have a look at my Selene Apollo replica you can see how I did it just using a dcoupler cubic strut and panels. Engines can fire though it and is uses far less parts than the method you showed. But I don't think thats Runes issue. Rune you can download my pre-made fairingless engines HERE Its a subassembly and they are stacked so you can just pull out the poodle from the stack.
  3. Well that's good news as the poodles play nice when it comes to the fairing removal! I know its only seen briefly but its so much cleaner without it.
  4. Hi Rune. Looking at the pic of the interstage ring separating, can I see a stock applied fairing in there? What motor is that attached to? It may be possible to remove the stock fairing.
  5. This is one of the most imaginative SSTOs I've seen here. I dont even know what I'm looking at! Really cool.
  6. Kasuha, Snuggler is clearly trying to get a point across that you are ignoring completely. Its rude to ignore people. Put on your big boy pants and do the right thing.
  7. Hi all, Just my two cents. Using intake spam is kinda cheaty and the game shouldn't allow it. Surely code could be written into the game to limit the number of usable intakes per engine. Say capped at two max per engine. Then any added after that number wouldn't give you anymore oxygen and would just add weight.
  8. Cool! That couldn't be said for the rest of those craft though..
  9. Cool pics mate. Is that a modified version of my Ares 1 And Orion? I'm waiting for proper Occulas rift support!
  10. Ah, another well spoken Englishman. Great video, great music great flying. rep for you old boy.
  11. LOL, ok professor. That's not really Snugglers point but thanks for the science.
  12. Are the cubesats always put into a quickly decaying orbit? As the last thing we need is more small things in Earth orbit.
  13. I was wondering about that. Hmm.. Why not use the structural panels for the 1st/2nd inter-stage ring.
  14. Nope and nope. Having made a Saturn V with working Ibeam fairings after seeing mulbins original one I can say that skippers will not do it. Not even mainsails on their own will cut it.
  15. Its certainly possible. I just don't think it will be this. I'm preparing to be disappointed.
  16. Son of a. We need to think logically about this. Lets apply Occam's razor to this problem.
  17. The meshes will be for improved parts. And parts denting doesn't sound hilarious. Remember the last time you crashed something in KSP? You are typically left with one or two surviving parts. Seeing these parts bent or dented wouldn't add much considering the effort to achieve that.
  18. Sounds like a massive restriction. Squad wouldn't do this to the community. You are a monster.
  19. My moneys on redone planets and part improvements as Kasuha said above. There will never be moving kerbals around inside craft in the way people do IRL. Its way too complex and will limit peoples builds.
  20. Nope, wont be that. As Squad said, If you are a good player you may not ever see it. Which is kinda sucky as why hype a 'feature' that you may never see..?
