  1. AFAIK it works fine in 32bit, there was a recompiled DLL for 64bit posted as well. I don't know about the prices.
  2. Only having 64-bit would be a big mistake, the build is NOT as good as 32 is. There's minor problems like the crew recruitment screen flashing instead of black during scene transitions and I have a really annoying issue with right click. Just because you need 64bit doesn't mean everyone playing this game does. I don't think most people playing KSP have RAM issues, not to mention the people who don't have more than 4GB of RAM.
  3. I don't know if it still works, but KIDS by ferram scales ISP, effectively making the game harder/easier. It's in his sig http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/52882-0-21-Kerbal-Isp-Difficulty-Scaler-v1-0?p=699967#post699967.
  4. What ferram said, in case you don't figure it out go here https://github.com/ferram4/Ferram-Aerospace-Research/tree/3c7c50d8796486697620ec6e6f2ad79fadfb395b And download zip on the bottom right of the page. Ignore everything except GameData. Haha 3 people, 3 methods
  5. This looks pretty nice, reading the OP I figure this isn't within the scope of this mod but I'd really like a mod that can measure lengths in the VAB. The best way to do this right now is to use procedural parts and hover them over stuff.
  6. I don't think he abandoned it, if he did I think we would've seen the latest source released at the very least. Last post he made AFAIK was maybe a month ago, on page 997 or so when I asked him to do something for page 1k.
  7. What you will see is a different ocean and land shader. The cloud layer isn't much different but the planets have a much nicer terminator (darker night side) and cities work in the day as well. Rbray is working on the atmosphere, which at the moment looks like fog basically. Overhaul also completely reworks the config files and the in-game menu. I think that's all.
  8. I wanna join in on the crying for DLLs, I was enjoying using the incomplete versions up for grabs there. Are you planning on having nighlies on Git or something like MechJeb (release every time there's a change)?
  9. That would be because the true altitude is indeed 1.2km in your screenshot, basically the ocean is 1.2km deep and MJ uses that as its landing height not the surface of the ocean.
  10. Use is that this one is used by literally all mods while the official one is new and not very widely used right now. Also blizzy's has stuff like autohide, folders and multiple toolbars.
  11. What's going on is you can receive no help unless you say something useful. You can cry all day, without logs and a reliable way to repeat this "lunatic" behavior there's nothing anybody can do.
  12. That's not really true as most galaxies are actually irregular in shape. Though irregular is really just a big sphere of stars so I suppose it sticks to the round universe idea. Anyway, this mod is really made for KSPI so inclination doesn't matter much. You say within one degree of the galaxy core but think how much one degree means thousands of light years away, it adds up to at least a few light years difference up/down relative to our sun. Now in my opinion that doesn't really matter compared to the advantage of actually having more stars with their own planets rather than add a ridiculous amount of planets and moons to poor old Kerbol. It would be nice if you manage to make this supersede PF:CE since that isn't being maintained anymore.
  13. Yeah, I'm assuming this is a multi-mod idea to switch to a "unit" being a SI unit. I don't see what your problem is, all you need to do is open the build aid.

  15. Just got this exception after I boarded my craft on Minmus. Seems harmless but thought I'd post it anyway. ArgumentException: Getting control 0's position in a group with only 0 controls when doing Repaint Aborting at UnityEngine.GUILayoutGroup.GetNext () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUILayoutUtility.BeginLayoutGroup (UnityEngine.GUIStyle style, UnityEngine.GUILayoutOption[] options, System.Type LayoutType) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUILayout.BeginVertical (UnityEngine.GUIContent content, UnityEngine.GUIStyle style, UnityEngine.GUILayoutOption[] options) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUILayout.BeginVertical (UnityEngine.GUILayoutOption[] options) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ferram4.FARControlSys.WindowGUI (Int32 windowID) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUILayout+LayoutedWindow.DoWindow (Int32 windowID) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUI.CallWindowDelegate (UnityEngine.WindowFunction func, Int32 id, UnityEngine.GUISkin _skin, Int32 forceRect, Single width, Single height, UnityEngine.GUIStyle style) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 What I actually wanted to ask was if it's possible to get "Surface" back, I understand why it's labelled as TAS now but it's silly on airless bodies since there is no air speed obviously.
  16. In RemoteTech_Settings there's enablesignaldelay which you need to change to false. The settings file only shows up after you change something in-game (like toggle what is visible on the map).
  17. It won't work with overhaul no. It uses a different config format so if you want to use any packs then you need 7-3.
  18. I would wait to be honest, KSPI is one of the few mods which are completely changed by budgets.
  19. I really laughed a little inside when I read the changes to the inflatable heatshield. It went from 10000 degrees to 2800 and the drag was insane as well. Good to see it fixed.
  20. Does working as intended mean it won't support 0.24 or just that the game says it's incompatible which is true right now? Never mind, just noticed the dev thread.
  21. Shouldn't the official 0.24 version MJ2.3 support the stock toolbar as well? I don't have a problem with it being in 2.3.1 or even dev builds as I imagine most people here use those anyway.
  22. Ok I see how this is annoying and might not work for planes with low TWR at all, but seriously you can take off yourself and then use MJ.
  23. Steam only deletes the bare bones game, I.e the same files it downloaded. So no mods or custom configs get deleted which is rather annoying for mod-friendly games.
