  1. Modders work on their own time. When, if, they get to work on it, they'll let us know.
  2. Yes, yes it is. But that's perfectly ok! I like the idea of having a community based "rescue force" as you put it. I would think though rescues should require a video or written report to allow the rescued player to learn how to do it.
  3. @Cannon, The two threads have been merged. Next time, it's best just to report and and ask the thread to be moved, rather than start another one.
  4. Moved to add-on discussions, as it covers more questions about mods than stock.
  5. Welcome to the forums @Oliverandom, your question has been moved to the Add-on discussion subforum.
  6. I've been watching season one, enjoying it, but with some unease. I think I lost it when they had to
  7. Thread moved from Console Tech Support to Unmodded Tech Support.
  8. Like I said though, others will probably have better ideas than I do. But that's the approach I'd take, and I might be inspired to try something like this. Good luck!
  9. Keep adding more ore tanks till it doesn't float, and then take a bit of ore out of the top level tanks until it floats at the level you want.
  10. There are others with far more experience than I in floating vessels in KSP, but my first inclination would be to create a first stage with lots of ore tanks full of ore to make a "launch pad" that sinks. Use vessel mover or some other method to place the rocket in deep water, and launch! It will take some tweaking to get the bouancy just right, but I think you should be able to have a rocket stand upright in the ocean, with only the upper parts above the water. It's much easier and less game/immersion breaking than flooding the KSC.
  11. No, that's a myth that TV spreads around. The information does not exist in the file. Yelling "ENHANCE!" at your IT guy won't help. It would only be guesswork by any software package that might be designed to do this, and then you could never trust the result, as it would have been extrapolated data. Clearly in this case, they wanted to show the image being worked on without revealing any details, and the other screen is completely obscured so no NDA covered material gets revealed. And then that data has been crunched through the Youtube compression algorithms, obfuscating the info even more. Although, since there is video of the blurred image, you might be able to offset the various blurred frames to pull real data from it, but this would not be a trivial task.
  12. I have two bigger questions. Why is the giraffe wearing glasses? Why is the KSP poster sideways? I know that's how most rockets end up flying, but c'mon, they don't have to rub it in.
  13. It looks like that the image has been intentionally blurred out, so even if it were possible to unblur something, I don't think it would be very kosher to do so on their official forums.
  14. What video? What flag? If you'd like some help, you need to help us. If this is relating to a video that we are already discussing in another thread, we ask you take the discussion there.
  15. It appears you are trying to watch a video. Pause the video at the moment in question, hit your PtrScn button on your keyboard, open MS Paint in windows, Hit Ctrl-V, then save that as an image, and post it on the forums like snark mentioned above. We really have no idea what you are trying to point out to us.
  16. I think while the other three are obviously key, this one is the reason few new mods get released. Modder gets an idea, does a little research, oh that other mod is almost exactly what i was going to do. So they either drop the idea, or help the original modder if possible.
  17. Moved to add-on discussion. @Flyguy4500, it's usually best to ask this within the mod release thread itself, and provide the requisite logs and such the mod author requests to allow them to figure out what is wrong. Your cross-posted threads have also been merged.
  18. I think @bewing is correct. The sentinel contracts take a long time to complete. IIRC, it'll just happen in the background once the satellite has detected the required number of asteroids.
  19. This is probably better than prenamed categories. 4-6 should do fine, should cover most players needs. Of course, there's always some nutcase who wants 138 of them and actually has a need for them. Most of the pushback on this idea probably came from suggesting an addition to a system that is already automated, without specifying it will be manual. So people were trying to figure out how to automate it, and running into a lot of issues. Custom categories will suit most people best, for the same reason you are asking for more categories over the stock ones now.
  20. 65 pound German shepherds, while wearing 20 pounds of gear themselves, while tied to a truck bumper, have no problem pulling said truck up a hill if they see a squirrel.
  21. Hi @lionbeast321 Welcome to the forums. Your question about a mod has been moved to Add-on Discussions.
  22. @Kermandd, Your posts have been split off from the thread you posted in, into their own support thread. Read this and please provide some details so we can help you:
