  1. I do this for every rocket independed of weight: -Throttle up and keep your rocket close to escape velocity (150 m/s) -At 5 Km turn 22.5 degrees. -At 10Km turn the remaining 22.5 degrees then throttle up. -Once you leave Kerbin's atmosphere, turn and face prograde.
  2. Title says pretty much anything. I have more performance with the game on 'fastest' render quality, even allowing me to use full res textures, but there are no shadows, unless I set render quality to 'good'. Unfortunately, setting it to 'good' doesn't allow me to use full res textures. Is there a way to have shadows on the lowest render settings? Before you say "You should have better hardware, etc. ,etc." keep in mind that shadows are essentials for landing on planets, seeing as KSP doesn't have a radar altimeter(that measures the distance of the aircraft from the ground), except when you're on IVA mode.
  3. I tested those and did a rover, along with the RollKage. Liking them so far.
  4. Now that I finally got Subassembly Loader working on 0.20, I'm trying to figure a way to make it work with both the Space Junk Cargo bay and the B9 ones. Problem is that the subassemblies won't snap properly to the bay. Is there a way to define which part will be the root node before saving a subassembly?

  6. Here is my non-functional design. I can't seem to figure how you control it after the cable is deployed, as it wants to focus on the engines.
  7. And I was able to get to orbit with not much fuel left and almost no oxidizer with this plane. I don't understand the concept of climbing fast with this plane, mainly because I have to correct it almost everytime as it wants to yaw then roll as you try to correct it. It also refuses to fly upwards, even with SAS on. With SAS on, all it does it's shake from one side to the other and doesn't care about pitch. That doens't seem to happen with the planes I build with stock parts.
  8. I'm sorta giving up... None of my B9 space planes can go past 11 Km high. As soon as they reach this altitude, they start falling back into the ground.
  9. I tried this, but the big SABRE egine get's destryoed during takeoff, since there is no able place to put the wheels. and just when I got Subassembly Loader working... :c
  10. SasquatchM's Pulse Detonation Engine uses compressed air and most Firespitter helicopter parts use more air than intakes can produce.
  11. Not even the world's fastest super computers can simulate real life physics with 20% accuracy.
  12. Can you add the option to to have this on teh bottom as well? I won't have that space at the top if I run the game at 1024x600
  13. You would essentially need a cluster to play the game. Or one machine just to run the enviroment, other for the ships and a third one for the physics calculations.
  14. I would like to see fuel tanks in the propulsion section as well, if that's not asking much.
  15. Or you can require a picture of prelaunch with the resources tab open and the final screenshot withth resources tab open as well.
  16. Perhaps a third option would be added to lock the cable after it has been extended?
  17. I tried to make two SSTO's around the SABRE Engines and both do what I dub "the chicken walk", as soon as they reach 100 m/s, they start to yaw and roll to one direction. Since the wheels won't allow the side to sink in, it will go to the opposite side and bounce back and forth, till wings and the overall craft are destroyed. I'll attribute to KSP's broken wheel physics, that make vehicles steer to one side as speed increases and you are pitching up or down.
