  1. Oh i agree. For casual players i can see how this isn't a big deal. However I'm with a military RP group and we have to use funds to purchase crafts. So to see things like 8 tanks that cost like 55,000 break is kind of a big deal. I agree for the most part squad did great. I can finally run a graphic setting that makes mountains look like mountains rather than pointy polygons
  2. 1.1 wheels won't work if they are clipped. For example I had a tank in 1.0.5 that has 8 wheels that were slightly clipped into the tank (the part of the wheel that looks like suspension not the wheel itself) and it got to over 20m/s In 1.1 that same tank won't move an inch at all. When i edited it enough to where the wheels were not at all clipped it got up to 5 m/s and it drank electric charge faster than kid can slam down a capri-sun juice pouch My advice, either go back to 1.0.5 if you want to do rovers or only fly rockets/planes until Squad does hot fixes for these issues
  3. Probably not the reply you were hoping for but it seems right now the wheels are plagued with bugs. They range from not moving if clipped or rotated off center to bouncing and causing chaos. For example my tank in 1.0.5 had the wheels slightly clipped. It used to get up to about 22 m/s In 1.1 the same tank won't move an inch. However if i go and fix the wheels so they don't clip it will move but it consumes so much electric charge that it gets a max speed of 5-8 m/s Unless a moderater says other wise my advice would be just to play around with other things like rockets or maybe planes until all this gets fixed. If not i would say go back to 1.0.5 until it gets resolved If you use mods Kerbal Foundaries is working on updating to 1.1 and their makers has stated they got their tank tracks working so when they release their 1.1 version it may make for a good temporary fix. That is assuming they beat Squad to fixing the problem
  4. Make an Imgur account and upload them there. Then copy a link to the picture. Then click on the "Insert other media" tab and click on the "nsert image from URL". From there paste the link to the picture.

  10. Ive also noticed that when you set the Wingman to self-command and then have the AI fly to a point way off it will try to follow the curvature of kerbin rather than keeping altitude

  15. Its more of a Facebook group involving multiple people. Each human player has their own country that they control and build up militaries for. Also Kerbin is decided into multiple regions. Human players can do wars with other human regions or they can RP it with a non human controlled region. In this map the dark green regions are non claimed. My country is Adonai (Where KSC is). My country is peaceful a democracy. The region the the left of mine is not controlled by one of the groups members so i would need to completely RP a war with an imaginary enemy if i were to gain control of it. While most players will do things like terrorist or rebels in the other regions I want to create a legit enemy and give it a actual story. Thats why I'm asking for a drawing or whatever of a Female Kerbal of the neighboring region to give a face for the enemies leader.   17. Ok you need to keep it all together and place all of that inside the game data folder located in the KSP folder You also need BD armory for this mod to work

  20. I have a request for all artist. Im in a role-play group on Facebook. Its a military based RP and when 1.1 comes out i want to role-play a war with another country. Unlike most in the group the enemy won't be just a bunch of terrorist or extremist. It will instead be a actual military. As such i want to give more in depth and more story to the enemy and my forces. This is where y'all will come in. I need a picture that will give face to the enemies leader. My idea for her is that SHE will be totalitarian almost like Hitler was. So you need to come up with a picture that when people see her, they see someone who strikes fear into them while also giving sense of leadership. Im giving y'all a bit of artistic freedom but there are some things that need to be in play 1. Keep it clean and professional - A suit and tie or very dignified dress would be best - Attractive but not revealing (think of the promo for when Valentina was introduced only instead of a space suit something a leader of a country would wear) 2. Unlike most female kerbals…give her long black hair. 3. She needs to have a smile. One thats confident but not hubris. Also slightly psychotic (Think power hungry) 4. Needs to include the flag in the picture 5. No real world emblems. I know I'm asking you to create a picture of a totalitarian leader for my RP group to fight against but no swastikas or anything like that. I ll let you know who the winner is when i pick one.
